e-Liquid Review: This Apricots Mangoed from the Fruit Monster range

Welcome back, I’ve been a busy fella the last few weeks, so the reviews have been slow going. My apologies.

Let’s take a look at another flavour from one of my favourite brands, in fact this is the last of this series that I have to review. With other flavours such as “BB Kiwi” and “Mangos Gone Mandarin“, the Australian Fruit Monster range is exploding with flavour, and really is an all out, go-to range for all of your fruit flavoured juice needs.

Today, I’ll be reviewing “This Apricots Mangoed” from the Fruit Monster range.

(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor for review.)

Flavour Description

[From the website]
“A frightening combo of Mango and Apricot.”

The Review

You can’t go wrong with a very well mixed fruit e-liquid. I tend to look for quality indicators when reviewing a flavour, things such as depth of flavour, how well balanced it is, making sure it’s void of any nasty nuances, and if it’s a genuinely well thought out product.

“This Apricots Mangoed” ticks all of these boxes and more.

It’s not just a fantastic fruit juice profile, no, you’re going to get a lot of depth out of this one, it’s something you can really wrap your taste-buds around, very much like the rest of the Fruit Monster range.

“This Apricots Mangoed is a flavour powerhouse with fresh juicy Mangos, and a deeper Apricot syrup that fills your senses, and takes you on a flavour journey filled with contrasting sweet fruits and tangy heights.”

Individual Notes

The mango here is quite good. It’s a very authentic fruit flavour, sweet, syrupy and full of moisture. Because of this juicy feel, you’ll get a much bigger and much more robust flavour than a normal mango.
Low tones set the stage for a tasty sweet fruit juice.

The Apricot is interesting, because it’s quite a syrupy, and deep flavour, it contrasts very nicely against the dull yet sweet mango, taking it to a depth that it couldn’t achieve by itself. This is also quite a sweet and natural flavour, much more akin to a real fruit than a confectionary.
The apricot really does bring a lot to the table with this flavour.

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, familiar sweet lower notes of mango fill your senses. At this point it’s obviously not at it’s full intensity, but it is already quite full, and a well rounded flavour. Sweet and syrupy flesh notes fill your nostrils as you continue, gradually getting stronger and stronger, and evening out as you get closer to the top as Mango tends to do.

It’s at this point you’ll notice the darker, more syrupy Apricot appear, working it’s way into the medley also getting stronger as you inhale, and creating quite a deep and juicy feel against the Mango. Sweet meets sweet and flesh meets flesh, as these two fruits play against and for each other all at the same time, creating a fantastic blend.

At the top of the inhale where everything really is at it’s most intense, you’ll likely notice the mango and apricot begin blending, where both were a little separated out before. They are both still, well and truly identifiable, but the sweet and syrupy tones begin to bring them both together gradually forming a singular fruit cocktail.

As you exhale, the medley gets even more tangled and blended as the two fruits and their similar characteristics merge into one, slightly floral, sweet and juicy, will a full mouth feel texture making sure you’re getting the depth and complexity as intended.

The aftertaste here is wonderful, because of these two fruits blending over the exhale, you’ll find yourself wanting to take another puff all over again, just so that you can try and identify where one flavour ends and the other begins.

Final thoughts

If you’re looking for a fresh, deep, sweet and syrupy flavour, you’ve no need to look past this one. Both fruits have been chosen as the perfect coupling for this flavour, each complimenting and contrasting with the other to create a lovely smooth, and sweet fruit juice blend.

I can’t fault this one at all, it’s been a fantastic flavour to vape on for the last 4 or 5 days, the longevity of this one is great. No dulling of flavour, no olfactory fatigue and no issues with damaged coils or wicks, this one is a flavour you can vape for weeks on end and not get tired of it.

Fantastic work guys.
