eLiquid Review: Georgia from Regency Vapour

eLiquid Review: Georgia from Regency Vapour

Welcome back folks, another week and another bunch of reviews for you!

This next flavour comes to you from Regency Vapour, created by what many know as Haku Engineering, their alternative yet regally branded juice range should inspire confidence in quality, just as the Haku brand has for the last few years.

So far I’ve looked at Adriana and Stella, today’s flavour is bound to be just as fantastic!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Georgia” from Regency Vapour.

(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor for review.)

Flavour Description

[From the website]
“Summer is here and Georgia is calling upon you.  Experience a juicy Lychee inhale with a Sweet Peach exhale. She’s so alluring and hard to resist.”

The Review

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this one, the description doesn’t delve too deeply and Lychee and Peach is definitely not something that I would expect would work.

Happily, I’m wrong! They work very well together, with the sharper and sweeter Lychee top end and furry sweet peach toward the lower end of the flavour spectrum, neither compete. Instead they both bolster the other’s significant uniquities leaving us lucky vapers with another tasty flavour to devour!

“Sweet Lychees and Fuzzy Peaches come together in this unique blend to create something that is simply bold and delicious!”

Individual Notes

The lychee is probably the more dominant note to start, it’s very sweet with a high inpact, bright, with a little bit of a candy feel to it. If you were to toss out a list of strong impacty flavours, Lychee would definitely be quite close to the top of the list. Further in, it gets a little bitter feel to it, but the strength of the sweetness keeps things moving for a very fruity profile.

Fuzzy peach. I describe this as fuzzy, because its a very “basey” flavour, quite a low down tone. It fades into the background quite easily, yet retains it’s position in the mix with a nice juicy peach flesh profile. This seems to blend in and out as you vape it, sometimes disappearing altogether, and others, quite noticeable against the lychee.

Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. I have no idea if this is in here, but I get a strong ice cream feel on the exhale. Thick and creamy, with light floral vanilla overtones, silky smooth, what else could it be!!!

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale I first notice the bright lychee. It’s sweet and candy like, with a light bitterness, but nothing too overpowering. This is quite a dynamic flavour, and has an intensity about it that sets the stage for this profile.
On the underside of the Lychee, some lower fuzzy peach tones appear in the background, warming things up as the inhale develops.
This sweet peach while warm, and is a much thicker profile than the lychee it does also have a juiciness about it that is genuinely peach.

As you reach the top of the inhale, the lychee hits a peak, sharp and sweet, with quite an impact, as the lower peach tones pull up the base.

As you exhale, you’ll notice that the lychee dulls back a little, losing most of it’s impact, but retaining it’s sweetness, as the peach moves in a little more encompassing the lychee and bringing with it a much deeper and thicker profile. I notice things get a lot creamier, almost to the point of there being quite a noticeable Vanilla Bean Ice Cream feel to it, backing up the peach and further reinforcing that creamy richness.

Light sweet lychee, and juicy peach combine with an Ice Cream texture that follows through right until the end of the vape.

Final thoughts

A very tasty flavour, two fruits I definitely wouldn’t expect to find blended together, but work so well, specially with the vanilla bean ice cream seemingly bridging them both.

Speaking of which, that was a surprise! Ice Cream is not mentioned in the description, but there it is, right there on the exhale, helping to thicken the vape and provide a silky smooth and creamy finish. Genius move adding that, as it works in here so well against the two fruits.

I did notice that this flavour can gunk wicks up a little and as a consequence, after a few days, that can degrade your wicks to the point of a little bit of a muddled flavour. Not a big issue if you change out wicks often enough like I do, but something to keep in mind if you do not use rebuildables.

All in all, a very tasty combo, well blended, great work guys!

Where to Buy:

You can pick up all of the Regency Vapour range from the Regency Vapour Australia website, the Regency Vapour UK website, or from their many stockists.

Colour:

Honey tint

Aroma:

Lychee, Peach

Coil and wick damage:

Some darkening of wicks, but no real gunking.

PG/VG Ratio:

80VG/20PG

Texture:

Thick and creamy, fruity, silky smooth.

Steeping:

No steep required.

Presentation:

Great regal looking presentation. I received dark tinted 60ml Chubby Gorilla style bottles with childproof caps, and needle tip dispensers.

The darker labels with gold accents give things quite an elegent look, which matches with Regency’s scripted logo and general theme.

These have pretty minimal information on them, mainly, logo & brand, juice name, 18+, 0mg Nicotine, and a skull warning icon. I would have liked to have seen a lot more information on here.

Test rigs:

Original Haku Cruiser running a single 0.17 framed staple coil on a mech mod.
Augvape Intake RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
Bonza RDA with x2 Framed Stapled coils (0.2 ohm-ish)
