Today I’ll be reviewing “Strawberry Sherbet” from Mr Wicky.

(This eliquid was supplied by Vapoureyes for review. Much love guys!)

Flavour Description

[From the website]
Based off the rest of the excellent (and popular sherbets) from the Wicky crew, this is an amazing blend of the sherbet base and a strawberry candy, ready to pop off in your mouth (in a good way!).

The Review

So Mr Wicky also have 2 other sherbet based flavours, Sweet Orange and Berry & Grape. This flavour is based from the same great sherbet that was used in the first two, just with a different fruit involved.

Sharp and sweet strawberry hard candy hits your taste-buds as smooth sherbet melts on your tongue leaving a lovely aftertaste!

Individual Notes

Let’s hit the strawberry first. To me this is a real hard candy flavour, or a boiled lolly. I’m finding it’s a bit of a hybrid between a hard candy red lollipop and one of those heart candies that come in the little wrappers.
Its sweet, a little tart or sharp, with a solid punch in the tastebuds, and a lovely sugary sweetness that carries on for ages!

The sherbet adds a little softness and even more sweetness to the strawberry hard candy, it contrasts yet melds with the strawberry, creating an extra sweet finish, and a little tang to the exhale.

Inhale & Exhale

As I inhale, it’s all strawberry hard candy, starting off a little quiet, and quickly getting more intense as the inhale continues. I notice that light hard candy sweetness first of all, and as the flavour gets stronger, those hard to catch strawberry notes start to make themselves a little easier to find. The sharper, almost tart profile, and light seedy notes provide much of what is the strawberry with an underlying hard candy sweetness pulling things toward the intended flavour quite nicely.

The peak of the tartness happens around the top of the inhale, as it does with most strawberries, and so does the sweetness. Tart and sweet go so well together in this sort of flavour, and Mr Wicky have done a great job, getting it there.

As I exhale, the sharper strawberry notes subside a little, as I notice a little extra sweetness creep in, and a bit of a profile shift. Thing start smoothing out with a slightly different sweetness in tow. The sherbet with it’s almost powdery consistency, gradually begins to wash over the strawberry hard candy, just like you would get biting into a hard candy sherbet, and releases an almost creamy feel to the vape I continue.

The sherbet hits it’s peak around three quarters of the way through the exhale, as it blends with the strawberry, leaving the rest of the vape as quite a lovely sweet blend of hard candy and sherbet blending together.

Final thoughts

I’ve been vaping this one all weekend, and can safely say, that this is a really great strawberry candy. I get the strawberry, I get the hard candy, and the sherbet. And it all comes together so well, with the sharper strawberry really driving a lot of the flavour before that sherbet gradually works in, just as it would as you get closer to the centre of a hard candy sherbet.

I can’t fault this flavour for the intended profile, it really hits the nail on the head, and is everything that it should be, I can almost imagine myself really eating a hard candy sherbet!

I’ve a feeling that even those who have trouble tasting strawberry, might actually taste it in this one with it’s awesome tartness, backing onto the sweet sweet sherbet.

Great job on this one guys!
