eLiquid Review: Strawberries Gone Wild from the Smoozie range

eLiquid Review: Strawberries Gone Wild from the Smoozie range

So, next up is a flavour from a range that I’ve been running in my setups in the background for a while. There are 5 different flavours in the range, and I’ve already reviewed “Wondermelon Berry Sour“.

Just like it, most of this range are very sweet, candy like flavours, that deliver a pretty big flavour punch. They’re mean, clean and just fantastic straight up tasty profiles that you can enjoy all day long.

Apollo Ecigs have been in this game for a long while now, so is it any surprise that they’ve knocked it out of the park with this range?

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Strawberries Gone Wild” from the Smoozie range.
(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor for review.)

Flavour Description

[From the website]
“Strawberries mashed with raspberries and tart green apples with a fresh kick you won’t be able to resist.”

The Review

This is quite a tasty flavour, sticky sweet, with a little tartness, yet very smooth, in fact a very “all day vape” kind of profile.

The Strawberry, Raspberry and Apple work very well together to create a fruit cocktail that is both satisfying and intense, whilst still being smooth and palatable at the same time. Think sharp apples, meets strawberry hard candy.

Whether you’re vaping this with freebase nicotine or salts, non menthol or with added cooling agent, it’s a flavour that simply works in all forms that you can just fill up and go, without thinking twice about it.

“Strawberries Gone Wild is a fun and intense strawberry candy, with smooth raspberry and tart green apple combining to really pump out that flavour!”

Individual Notes

The strawberry here is sweet, not your typical tart strawberry, but smoother with a more candy feel. It’s texture reminds me of strawberry hard candy, the type you can crunch down on and get stuck between your teeth!

Raspberry pulls in behind the strawberry, offering a sweet and lower note, helping to prop the strawberry up while it takes care of the background.
You might not notice it so much, since it works as more of a complimentary flavour, bridging the other fruits and providing a lovely sweet base to work from.

The apple in this is awesome, think green apples, Granny Smith’s, with it’s acidic flesh, tart, and almost sour. You bite into it and get that juicy crunch that is so familiar.

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, I initially notice the strawberry and sweet raspberry, combining as one to create that sticky strawberry candy finish.
As the inhale continues, this changes a little from the sugary sweet glass candy, gradually introducing some fleshy green apple along the way.

As you get to the top of the inhale, the strawberry and raspberry continue on their sweet little journey, however the apple, the apple gets even tarter, a little sour and gives you a brief reminder of just how strong an apple flavour can be! It’s a sharp crisp apple that really dominates for a short while, and gives you quite a kick.

As fast as the apple has elevated, it drifts off again, allowing room for the strawberry and raspberry to move back in with their thick sticky sweetness, and smooth out the vape again for the exhale.

With everything evened out, this lovely sweet strawberry, raspberry, apple candy blend follows through right out to the end of the exhale, leaving you with sugary lips and a feeling like you’ve just chowed down on a hard candy.

Final thoughts

This is a very very nice flavour. Somewhere in the middle of fruity and candy, but with quite a hit of flavour intensity. I’ve enjoyed this one very much, I’ve actually cleaned up two 60ml bottles of this over the last few weeks and only have a small amount left.

If you’re after something straight forward fruity or candy and don’t mind a little sweetness, this one will be great for you. The green apple seems to amplify the sweetness a lot giving everything quite an intense feel, but smoothes out just as quickly leaving you with a very subdued hard candy feel through the exhale.

Could I pick on anything? It is probably a little too sweet, but considering that there is minimal coil and wick damage, there isn’t a lot of sweetener here, it’s simply the flavour combination that has that effect.

I’ve had this running in the background for quite a while and have not gotten tired of it yet, its a very nice flavour.

Well done Apollo!
