eLiquid Review 336: VIP (Black Label) by The Classic Vape Co

Onto the second flavour of my Black Label reviews, and I’m noticing a bit of a trend already. Minimal sweetener and a more well balanced flavour intensity.

In my experience, both of these are unusual traits for an American juice line, it is welcomed of course, it’s nice to find some overseas flavours with sweetener and flavour levels similar to our very own juice makers here!

Today I’ll be reviewing “VIP”.

Flavour Description:

Sour Blue Raspberry & Sweet Tangy Gummy Candies Lead The Way To A Night Worthy Of The Red Carpet.

The Review:

Remember eating sour straps as a kid? I do, I loved them, and I love this juice too. “VIP” is a bright and sweet blue raspberry with jelly candy undertones and a sprinkle of sugar, that’ll bring back those sweet childhood memories!

Individual Notes

The Blue raspberry in this is the most dominant flavour, it’s sweet, tangy, and a little sour just as it should be. It reminds me a little of sour gummy worms but a little less sour.

The gummy candy really adds depth to the blue raspberry, adding some substance and that unmistakeable jelly candy feel. Not a gummy bear note, rather a fresh juicy jelly baby feel.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale is of course Blue raspberry, as is much of the exhale, it’s bright, tangy and sets the stage early on as the dominant flavour.

On the exhale, the blue raspberry is still there, intensifying as the vape continues, all the while an artificial sweetness also comes through. It’s at this point the gummy candy also makes itself known, thickening things up with it’s jelly like consistency and texture, beefing up the base and adding that gummy undertone turning the blue raspberry into a sweet and sour candy strap type of flavour.

Final thoughts

This one is really nice, it does have a touch of sweetener, but I really couldn’t see this flavour working without it. It just wouldn’t give that authentic sour strap flavour without the extra sugar.

It’s bright and sweet, tangy with a little bit of a citric acid sour kick, that makes this flavour pop!

No wick or coil damage that I have noticed. This is quite a clean juice and shouldn’t mess with your setup quickly.

PG/VG Ratio:

70% VG / 30% PG

Texture:

Sweet, sticky with a light fizzy feel

Steeping:

Steeping is not necessary with this one.

Presentation:

I received 60ml clear chubby gorilla bottles with child proof lids and needle like nibs for easy filling. The presentation of the label is a little bit classy with The Classic Vape Co logo, and imagery giving off a nice expensive vibe.
Overall some really nice presentation, with all of the information you might need.
