eLiquid Review 500: Vibe – Country from VapeCraft

eLiquid Review 500: Vibe – Country from VapeCraft

I’ve got another of Vape Craft Inc’s flavours from their latest VIBE range up for review today. This one, like many of the others is of course fruit based, very sweet, very fruity!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Country” from VapeCraft’s VIBE range.
(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor for review.)

Flavour Description

[From the website]
“The fruit flavor that will have you thinking about summer and some good country jams”

Flavor: Fruit candy with peaches

The Review

I totally thought that this one was going to be a tobacco flavour! The name “Country” and the colours chosen for the label, for some reason gave me that expectation, boy was I surprised when I tasted it!

Following on from “EDM” and “Hip Hop” comes another fruity concoction, this time around, a “Peach” theme.

“Country” is a sweet sweet blend of several fruits, very candy-like but with a more realistic fruit sweetness. Peaches, strawberry and apple come together to create this sharp and tasty blend.

Individual Notes

Peaches. Yep this is designed to be a peach based fruit flavour. It’s very juicy, sweet and appears to be very much flesh based in texture rather than the fuzziness of some of the peach flavours you may have already tried.

There is definitely some strawberry here too, the sweetness, that real fruit sweetness (as opposed to a candy sweetness) comes mostly from the tart strawberry, again just like the peaches, very fleshy with no noticeable skin or seed notes.

I’m going to go out on a limb with this one, but I’m really getting some apple here too. It’s far too acidic to be the strawberry, and a little more citric sour than the usual strawberry tartness. Just like the other fruits, it’s fleshy with no noticeable skin notes.

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, you’ll notice the peach first, it’s a nice juicy peach, light and fruity, with no real skin note, very much a sweet light flavour at this point. As you inhale further, it picks up on intensity, and is very quickly joined by the apple. This peach and apple combination, sweet with acidic apple creates quite an interesting blend, almost dry, yet the peach seems to keep things from drying out too much.

As quickly as the peach is joined by the apple, so too arrives the strawberry, bringing a little tartness into the mix, adding an extra layer and blending the peach and apple together on a deeper level.

On the exhale, all three flavours play off of each other, the apple with it’s dry acidic nature, just kept at bay by the syrupy sweet peach and the tarter taller notes of the strawberry.

The strawberry gives way first and blends back into the other fruits, as the exhale continues, barely noticeable toward the end, but leaving a more candy feel to the flavour, whilst the peach, subtle at this point struggles a little against the apple, but along with it, rides through to the very end of the vape, leaving you with a partially dry yet sweet peachy finish.

Final thoughts

This flavour is really sweet, sweet and sour if that’s at all possible. The tartness that comes from the apple and strawberry really drives that “twist your face up” sweetness, so quite acidic, creating a lot of flavour impact.

Does it work? Sure it does, the peach is a welcome addition, combining a different fruit profile with that tart/sour citrus note really keeps things interesting and fresh. With the apple and strawberry equally identifiable, working side by side with the peach, you’ll get to appreciate all of the included flavours coming together, each finding their own groove.

Personally, I found after a while the tartness and acidic nature of this flavour did have me thinking about changing out to something else, as I can be sensitive to these strong profiles, but I’ve gone the distance, and can say that I’ve enjoyed this one.

Love sharp, strong flavours? This one is for you!

Presentation:

Vapecraft always have quite good presentation, and this range is no different. I received 60ml Chubby Gorilla bottles, with child-proof and tamper proof seal, needle tip dispenser. The labels are vibrant, and colourful, with the addition of the vibe logo being in metallic print. Each label has flavour specific colouring, the vibe logo, nicotine warning, bottle size, and the rest is just really quite hard to read.

All of the information is here, it’s just not readable. After taking a photo with my camera phone, I enlarged the text and could read it without issue, but to the human eye? Nada. The unreadable text is mainly ingredients list and general warnings, so not a big deal to general users, but it might be something they should look at to ensure everything can be read.

Otherwise, these are some fairly well designed labels.

Test rigs:

Original Haku Cruiser running a single 0.17 framed staple coil on a mech mod.
Augvape Intake RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
