eLiquid Review: Tropical Bliss by Sydney Vape Co

eLiquid Review: Tropical Bliss by Sydney Vape Co

It’s a new week, but we’re still going strong on the Sydney Vape Co range of flavours. We finished off the week last week on a dessert, so let’s shake things up a little and start this week with a fruit medley!

I’ve reviewed this one before, back then “Tropical Bliss (the original)” was a
cocktail of pineapple, coconut, watermelon, tangerine and lychee. A little different than this iteration that’s for sure! It does still have that tropical feel though!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Tropical Bliss” from Sydney Vape Co.
(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor for review.)

Flavour Description

[From the website]
“Juicy mango, freshly cut pineapple and a handful of sweet peaches will have you in absolute Tropical Bliss. The perfect all-day summer vape.”

The Review

Today’s version of “Tropical Bliss” is a Mango, Pineapple, and Peach medley, rather than the original Pineapple, Coconut, Watermelon, Tangerine and Lychee. It’s a little less complex, but just as full flavoured.

In fact, I think this newer version sees the flavours a little more pronounced and you can pick them out at specific intervals in the vape.

It’s a thicker syrupy fruit medley, with juicy Mango and Pineapple making up the initial profile, while the peach works it’s way in and blends seamlessly through the exhale, leaving you with a super sweet, syrupy fruit blend.

“This revised version of ‘Tropical Bliss’ is a cleaner and more distinctive blend than the original, super sweet with thick syrupy fruits!”

Individual Notes

The Mango is by far the strongest most prevalent flavour across the inhale, it’s as always, a syrupy thick and sweet fruit. Very much a mango flesh flavour with all the good bits, moisture, body and a lingering flavour.

Alongside the Mango is the pineapple. The very same pineapple used in several of Sydney Vape Co’s flavours, it’s quite a juicy flavour itself, with more of a warm stewed pineapple feel than a fresh bright one. You could call it a very ripe pineapple I suppose, lacking a little in that sharp sour/tartness that you’d get from a fresh one.

The Peach is as always, a thick peach flesh, juicy, with a lower sweeter tone than the other fruits. This sets the base for the whole mix, and gives a really robust and solid background for the other flavours to layer with.

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, it’s all mango and pineapple. Mango takes up the lead as the first flavour you’ll notice, thick and syrupy (yes I know I’ve used the word ‘syrupy’ a lot!), it’s a low down sweet, mango flesh, that is not only ripe, but very juicy. This actually makes it a perfect match for the pineapple used, as it matches quite well, being a little over ripe, sweet and fleshy itself.

As you inhale the mango is joined by the slightly tarter pineapple, not to it’s detriment either, both of these fruits blend together almost seamlessly creating a thick and robust fruit that has a tropical feel and a whole lot of character.

Once you hit the peak of the inhale, and start to exhale, a thick and juicy Peach begins to work it’s way into the mix, starting off slow, but working up to match both the Mango and the Pineapple in intensity on the exhale pulling each of these syrupy fruits into the one sugary sweet profile.

Continuing right through to the end of the exhale, each of the three fruits, increases in flavour and blends with the others, complimenting each other really well, even though they are so similar, and creating quite a stewed fruity feel.

Final thoughts

This is a really enjoyable vape, all of these fruits are quite similar, offering very similar textures, thick, sweet and juicy.

The flavour works in multiple different setups and doesn’t really lose any flavour.

One thing I did notice, was that the 3 main fruits tend to get a little muddled through the exhale, as they all blend together. You can still decipher them no problems. Each flavour comes through as it’s own, it all gets just a little too syrupy, and rich, if you will, which confuses the palate and makes the flavour a little tiresome.

This is a well put together flavour however, and I’ve enjoyed it very much.

Well done guys.

Presentation:

As always, Sydney Vape Co, have some impressive presentation. Each bottle comes in it’s own similarly branded box. I received 30ml clear Chubby Gorilla style bottles with black child-proof caps, tamper proof ring-seal, and needle tip dispenser.

The labelling is comprehensive with juice name, respective imagery and company logo front and centre. General warnings, ingredients, bottle size, and even flavour profile are printed on the colour coded matt finish labels.

Most impressive of all is the use of “Born on” and “Batch Number” stamps. This is a great addition to any label, and builds confidence, letting the consumer know how old their bottle of juice really is.

If you haven’t seen them yet, SVC also have some fancy pants sample boxes available, so that you can try all of their flavours in smaller bottles, the whole set is only $59.99 which is some pretty great value!
