e-Liquid Review: Sweet Lemonade from Vape Vault

You’ve all heard of Vape Vault, they stormed onto the Australian vape scene a few years ago, offering what was known as Vault Boxes, boxes of eliquid carefully put together tailored to your tastes.

Well, since then they’ve been pretty busy, not only opening 2 physical stores, but adding oodles of products to their already incredible offerings, as well as developing The Chocolatier Vape Co range of eliquids, and the range that I’ll be reviewing this week.

Rob’s a top bloke and willing to help with anything you’ll ever need vape related, he loves trying new stuff, and is just an all round great guy always up for a chat, so if you’re in the vicinity of either of their physical stores, make sure you head on down and check out their shops!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Sweet Lemonade” from Vape Vault.

Flavour Description

This is homemade tropical lemonade at its finest, the sweetness is added with just a touch of home grown raspberries and a fair helping of mango sauce to keep it a little more tropical.

Flavour Notes: Real lemon with hints of sweet raspberry, ripe mango and a generous cooling hit.

Steep time: Good to go straight up on the mix

The Review

There is no beating around the bush with this flavour. It’s description really does say it all, it’s spelled out plainly on their site and to be honest, it’s very much spot on for what you’ll get.

It’s a fruity lemonade flavour, with background tropical and raspberry notes, that perfectly compliment the lemonade.

Individual Notes

The lemonade is obviously going to the be the main flavour here. It’s sweet and syrupy, just as you’d expect it to be. It reminds me of the lemonade syrupy you get for Soda Streams, sweet with that Lemonade syrup feel.

There is raspberry in here too. It’s delicately added so it doesn’t overbear, instead it compliments the lemonade really well. Sweet, fruity berries with a light tartness, and a lot of volume.

Vape Vault hint at the Mango here, I don’t get a strong hit of it, instead, like the raspberry it seems to just compliment, and provide a little texture. It’s creamier so adds to that thicker, syrupy feel.

Cooling. There’s a whack of cooling in this so, if you’re not a menthol or cooling fan, you might get a surprise, but overall, it’s at a nice level. Strong but not over the top, you definitely won’t say that it’s not enough!

Inhale & Exhale

Straight off the bat, all 3 flavour profiles hit you at once. First the lemonade, then the raspberry, and then the Mango. They blend together quickly, and create a wonderful complex lemonade that is instantly recognisable, so you can enjoy it right from the beginning.

As I inhale, I first get the lemonade with it’s sweet syrupy texture, quickly followed by the sweet raspberry graduating in with it, and then that smooth silky mango pulling up to give this flavour some volume.

Toward the top of the inhale, the cooling appears, chilling my mouth and throat, as the fruits hit their strongest point, with a thick and sweet texture.

As I exhale everything melds together into quite a nice tropical lemonade, as the chill takes over and the rest of the exhale is a solid fruity blend with a kick of cooling right through to the very end.

Final thoughts

If you hadn’t noticed, I refer to this flavour as being quite syrupy. You won’t get a lean, clean lemonade here, it’s primarily a lemonade syrup profile.

Thick and sweet, which is made even thicker by it’s VG/PG ratio of 80/20, this is made for those high wattage users, that not only want to blow clouds, but get a tonne of flavour too.

I’ve really enjoyed this. I was afraid that I might tire of it after a while, but I haven’t. I’ve easily picked up the bottle and refilled with it over the last few days without even a second thought.

I’m particularly impressed with the addition of the raspberry and mango, and that they don’t take away from the lemonade profile, instead compliment it with their various undertones.

If you love your sweet flavours and your cooling, you’re really going to dig this flavour. It’s smooth and juicy, thick and syrupy, sweet and chilled.

Presentation:

I love Vape Vault’s branding. As I understand it, this range will be rebadged soon, but I have to admit, I really like their existing design.
It has a very straight forward theme, everything industrial with gearing, locks and is presented very well.

I recieved clear 60ml Chubby Gorilla style bottles with child-proof caps, easy fill thin nozzles and tamper proof seals. Very much pretty standard across Australian eliquids.

The labelling is great, with all of the information you’ll need. Name and company front and centre, with a colour coded graphic to go along with it, ingredients, warnings, PG/VG ratio, bottle size, and social media URL’s.
