eLiquid Review 450: Strawberry Biscuits by Butler’s Choice Eliquids

These new kids on the block have some fantastic looking flavour profiles, professional looking bottles and labelling, as well as being friendly and helpful folks. That right there is everything you could want in an eliquid range, and company all the same.

This week I’ll be taking a look at some of “Butler’s Choice” juices, there are 4 all up for now, I am really looking forward to trying all of these! Let’s see if the flavour stacks up to their professional display!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Strawberry Biscuits” by Butler’s Choice Eliquids.
(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor for review.)

Flavour Description

A sweet Strawberry Biscuit with a special tang. As you inhale you will be met with a sweet but gentle strawberry taste. When exhale you will be rushed with the deep Biscuits hidden within the juice.

The Review:

I chose this one as the first to review, purely for the fact that I knew that I would love it, and I do. It’s a phenomenal, flavour, thick and sweet that has all of the traits a great dessert should have.

“Strawberry Biscuits” is just that, sweet, sticky strawberry sauce blended with an equally sweet, smooth and thick textured soft biscuit that you feel like you are just biting right into!

Individual Notes

While you won’t notice this part straight away, the biscuit provides the base, the texture and sets the scene for this profile. It’s a little shortbread, a little conventional biscuit, very milky, and sticky, with a defining smoothness. If you’re expecting a cookie, it’s not quite that, more a doughy, sweet and smooth soft biscuit.

The strawberry isn’t your typical strawberry either, its very saucy, very jammy, thick and sticky, rich and sweet. Picture strawberry sauce over your favourite cake, and you begin to get the idea. A brilliant addition to the biscuit, as it works so well with it, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d bitten into a strawberry filled shortbread!

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale is mostly sweet strawberry, a little realistic, a little candy, but quite a deep note. It’s a little syrupy, very much like a strawberry jam, or a sauce with it’s thicker, sweeter consistency, which definitely helps it blend with the rest of the mix. There is a tang to it, that I can’t put my finger on, but it happens just as the strawberry hits it’s most intense, the tartness shines through just briefly, before the vape continues.  I also note a bit of the biscuit at this stage too, not dominant, but enough to just round out the strawberry nicely, and provide that thicker texture that prevents the fruit from getting too sharp, or tall of a note.

At the exhale, the biscuit becomes a lot more intense, enveloping the strawberry, but not overtaking it. It’s a nice sweet biscuit, somewhere between a shortbread and an old school “yo-yo”, with it’s rich milky melt in your mouth feel. It rises quite quickly on the exhale, creating a really full and true to form biscuit, all the while allowing the sweet strawberry sauce to show through blended almost seamlessly with it to create a strawberry and biscuit combination that dwells in your mouth, even after vaping it.

Final thoughts

A very nice dessert, complimentary flavours playing off of each other, but also blending perfectly, to create a rich, complex profile. This flavour is quite thick in texture, which will have dessert vapers rejoicing, and enjoying those lovely thick tones, whilst fruit lovers will adore how the strawberry sauce oozes through the biscuit, sweet and powerful.

What a great introduction to the “Butler’s Choice” range! This is going to be a great week! Well done guys!

Presentation:

Butler’s Choice eliquids are presented really well. I received dark tinted 60ml bottles, not original Gorilla bottles, but very close, and are very good quality. The caps were relatively easy to remove for adding nicotine, and they have screw down child-proof caps and needle tip nozzles.

The labels are professionally designed, dark with a nice background, and the butlers choice badge front and centre, along with the colour coded eliquid flavour name. A nice touch I thought were the randomly placed tiny icons depicting each flavour in the background of the label.

All of the information you might need is right there on the label. Bottle size, PG/VG percentage, Ingredients as well as a 0mg ‘zero’ nicotine statement.

Test rigs:

Haku with slam cap running a single 0.17 framed staple coil on a mech mod.
OBS Engine RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
