eLiquid Review 449: Raspberry Pineapple Kallippo by Drip FX

This is it folks the last of the Drip FX flavours that I have here to review. Today’s flavour is a clever take on an old favourite. If you love your old school ice-blocks, sweet yet tangy, you’re in for a treat!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Raspberry Pineapple Kallippo” by Drip FX.
(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor for review.)

Flavour Description

This is our showcase juice crafted from the bottle up to replicate the infamous calippo. A complete one for one on flavour, this juice will satisfy the taste buds when only the best will do. If you like these the juice won’t disappoint.

The Review:

One of the best ice blocks ever made in my opinion, Calippo’s were my favourite when I was younger. Their packaging was unique, fully encasing the frozen surprise inside, so that you could simply squeeze out the good stuff without getting your hands all messy.

Calippo’s weren’t just you’re typical Ice block, they were extra syrupy, so that you could slide the flavoured iced confectionary out of the package better, which also added even more flavour!

DripFx have recreated this old favourite in vape form. I’ll admit, I’ve never had this flavoured Calippo before, the original lemon was my go to, but this flavour in vape form, is tangy realistic pineapple, fresh and bright, with rounded sweet raspberry and a slight lemonade feel to it.

Individual Notes

The pineapple is the primary fruit in this flavour. It’s bright and tangy, with a real pineapple flesh juiciness to it. Leading this flavour with it’s slight syrupy sticky feel, the pineapple is genuine and a tasty choice.

The other fruit that is in this calippo flavour is raspberry, adding even more sweetness and rounding out the pinepple with it’s slightly lower tones and berry goodness.

I notice a bit of a lemonade feel to this also, its a sweet soft drink style of lemonade, not a home-made type, lacking that real lemon, but providing a little fizz.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale is mostly the pineapple, sweet yet a little tart, with a whole lot of tangy. Very much like a pineapple syrup only a little crisper. As the inhale continues, the raspberry makes a small appearance, but only lightly at this moment. It adds a little sweetness and rounds out the pineapple a little. Even with the addition of the raspberry, the pineapple intensifies during the inhale, reaching it’s peak at the height of it.

Onto the exhale, while the pineapple has peaked, it still retains a lot of it’s flavour, with the raspberry now slowly intensifying to match it. Joining the raspberry on the exhale is a little bit of lemonade. A sweet soda or soft drink styled lemonade. The sweet slightly tart raspberry with the lemonade, adds an extra layer of complexity and tang to the pineapple which continues right through to the end of the vape.

Staying true to it’s Calippo roots, this flavour, is syrupy and strong, blended to great levels, and is above all, fruity, syrupy, all day vape material.

Final thoughts

I know that I’ve probably mentioned the word “syrup” a lot in this review, but this flavour really is that extra level of sticky than your usual fruits, and if you’ve ever had a Calippo, you’ll know that it’s the treat’s unique trait.

Ive enjoyed vaping this one very much, and am finding that it’s quite a tasty flavour, all day vape material right here, it’s well blended and a fine choice of blended fruits.

If you’re looking for something sweet and fruity this summer, you can’t go past “Raspberry Pineapple Kallippo”!
