eLiquid Review 487: (S+C)2 by Vape Wild

Let’s get things rolling with some Strawberries and Cream! Time to kick this week’s reviews up a notch with some dessert profiles.

Today’s flavour (S+C)2 has a strange name, but not so foreign flavour. You might be expecting a smooth candy strawberry and cream gummy but let me tell you now, that is definitely not what you are going to get!

Who doesn’t love a good strawberry flavor?  (S+C)2 pairs succulent strawberries with a smooth and delicious cream that makes for a wonderful dessert eliquid the likes of which you’ve never tasted before.  There’s even a hint of coconut inside that makes for a delightful surprise.

The Review

Like I said in the intro, if you’re expecting a light and sweet strawberries and cream gummy candy, don’t get your hopes up!

This Strawberry and Cream combo is a rich dessert that will rival many custards, for it’s flavour intensity as well as it’s thick and creamy consistency!

With distinct natural, and slightly roasted strawberry tartness, this flavour comes alive with the addition of not just sweet cream but a much more mature, and richer custard base.

Individual Notes

The strawberry is quite a rounded strawberry, very realistic, not your usual sweet candy strawberry. This one is not only sweet, but tart and has quite an earthiness to it that is convincingly realistic. If you’re a mixer, think TPA Strawberry Ripe at a higher percentage, and you’d be close to the type of strawberry this is.

A little addition in this juice is the coconut, this works really well boosting the strawberry and the complexity of the entire flavour whilst taking a little bit of the edge from the strawberry tartness, smoothing things in with the cream.

The cream. This is where I get a little uncertain. While I’d like to say that it’s a straight sweet cream, (it has all of the hallmarks of it) it does feel like this also contains some vanilla custard. There is that unmistakeable richness and complexity that only a custard can provide, but at the same time is quite delicately mixed, and not just your typical Capella Custard at 10%!!!

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, you’re instantly presented with that real down to earth heavy strawberry note, accompanied by a little bit of a clean cream, and light coconut nuances. Of course as the inhale continues, things begin to intensify, and this is where the strawberry really matures, in both sweetness and tartness, developing to contain a lot of dimension all by itself, lower base tones as well as brighter, sharper, tangy high notes all packed together just wanting to explode at any moment.

The light cream and coconut combine to provide a lovely light backdrop to the strawberry and just enough contrast without drawing attention away from the tangy fruit.

On the exhale, things switch around pretty quickly. While the strawberry was very much the dominant flavour on the inhale, and it still retains this title on the exhale, it falls back a little allowing the coconut and cream to move forward, strengthening and rounding out the entire profile, gradually washing through the strawberry and smoothing it leaving you with a more dessert like sweetness, void of any overly harsh tartness.

It’s silky smooth custard like cream with a light bite of strawberry right through to the end of the vape.

Final thoughts

While this seems more like a strawberry custard to me, very much a rich dessert than a simple strawberries and cream, it isn’t as strong as your typical custard and makes for a great all day vape.

I’m appreciating that Vape Wild have turned Strawberries and Cream on it’s head. Usually this flavour profile will be quite a dull candy strawberry with a pretty un-impressive cream thrown in creating a very underwhelming flavour. The fact that Vape Wild have spiced things up a little, and tried to throw a little complexity into the mix is refreshing and shows that they’re not just going to release similar flavours to everybody else.

Dessert vapers, you’ll love this one for it’s deeper flavour notes, and richer, complex nature. Candy vapers, you’ll probably love this one too, but don’t expect it to be like every other Strawberries and Cream e-liquid!

Vape Wild’s presentation is very professional. I received 60ml Chubby Gorilla bottles with needle tips and child proof lids. The labels are very well designed with all of the information you could possibly want. 
Juice name, company logo, image representing the flavour, PG/VG ratio, nicotine level, bottle size, required nicotine warnings, other warnings, ingredients, “Born on” date, batch number.

Test rigs:
