eLiquid Review 486: Buttered Beer by Vape Wild
If you’re not familiar with Vape Wild, they’re a US eliquid company based out of Texas, offering a heap of flavours to choose from at a very affordable price. So far the flavours I’ve reviewed, have shown themselves to be great value for money, lets see how today’s flavour goes!
Today, I’ll be reviewing “Buttered Beer” from VapeWild.

The Review
Butter Beer, the beverage made famous by the Harry Potter books is no longer a beverage of fiction, it’s served at Universal Studio’s “Wizarding World” theme park in a variety of versions.
Designed to be a Creaming Soda / Butterscotch type of alcohol free beverage, “Butter Beer” has proven very popular over the years, making it an attraction just as popular as the rides.
I’ve always been curious how a “Butter Beer” would taste in the real world and now I get to try it in vape form!
This e-liquid doesn’t stray far from it’s description, and I do have to say, it also matches every expectation that I had leading up to trying it.
For all you Harry Potter fans, or even just you Butterscotch or dessert vapers, rest assured, “Butter Beer” is a delicious dessert vape, consisting of thick and creamy caramel and butterscotch, with a sugary sweetness, and a tang that can only come from a carbonated drink, the creaming soda.
Not only tasty, this flavour is contrasting, and layered very well, allowing you to enjoy the thickness of the cream as well as it being a relatively clean vaping e-liquid!
Individual Notes
The butterscotch is light in this flavour, not so light as to not be noticeable but it definitely takes a back seat to the caramel, instead providing a very effective background butterscotch note that is sweet and complex.
The caramel is your typical dessert based caramel, sweet burnt sugar notes, although I’m finding that this one is cleaner than most, and doesn’t emit any notes that are unusually rich like many others.
The Creaming Soda that is in this flavour is a really good copy of the real thing, the sweet but fizzy and float feel that you get from this is just like chugging down the drink, and getting that thicker frothy mouth feel makes all the difference, specially when the creaming soda breaks through the caramel and butterscotch on the exhale.
Inhale & Exhale
On the inhale, you’ll notice the butterscotch and caramel first and foremost. They make up so much of the entire vape, and hit very early on, ensuring that you know this is going to be a thick and rich flavour. This blend has an almost vanilla custard feel to it, with the caramel and butterscotch not being overbearing, more blended to make less of an impact reinforcing the fact that these are not trying to be dominant flavours.
As the inhale continues, both intensify with their sweet and rounded profiles, very early marking this as having a prolific dessert side to it.
Over to the exhale, while the thick and creamy caramel and butterscotch have intensified, they haven’t gotten too strong, instead, giving off a very light and fluffy mouth feel, a little creamy.
Having this texture helps the Creaming Soda make an unexpected appearance. Rather than simply joining these dessert flavours, the Creaming soda sort of breaks through them, not dominating them, but pushing them aside to allow a slight fizzy tang to come through which then blends back in with them to create a cleaner, sweet and tangy creaminess that carries through to the end of the exhale.
Final thoughts
I really love this one, not only does it come across as a complex blend, but it satisfies with it’s robust and rounded profile. Thick and creamy, yet clean and fresh, it vapes well, is not overly sweetened, and works really well outside of just being a beverage.
This is definitely one of my favourites from Vape Wild so far, so if you’re looking for something a little more interesting than your standard vanilla custards or desserts, this one might just be the next flavour you’re looking for!

Vape Wild’s presentation is very professional. I received 60ml Chubby Gorilla bottles with needle tips and child proof lids. The labels are very well designed with all of the information you could possibly want.
Juice name, company logo, image representing the flavour, PG/VG ratio, nicotine level, bottle size, required nicotine warnings, other warnings, ingredients, “Born on” date, batch number.
Test rigs:
Haku with slam cap running a single 0.17 framed staple coil on a mech mod.
Augvape Intake RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
