eLiquid Review 464: Snowy – Tundra Collection by Juice Hero

The last few reviews from Juice Hero’s Dirty Harry range have of course been tobaccos. While today’s review is also one from Juice Hero, it’s from another one of their other ranges. The Tundra Collection.

This range is chock full of icy cold flavours, perfectly blended for stupidly hot summer days. Beware, you’re at risk of a brain freeze from these e-liquids! 

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Snowy” from Juice Hero’s “Tundra” collection.

Flavour Description

A true grapey as grape comes bubblegum with a frosty punch

The Review

Seriously, this flavour couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. This heat wave is pretty nasty, and what better to vape on a 40°C day than something sweet and chilled, and that’s exactly what “Snowy” is.

“Snowy” from the Tundra range is an ice cold, sweet natural and juicy grape, with an underlying bubblegum feel. Perfect for sweet tooths and menthol lovers alike!

Individual Notes

The grape in this e-liquid is more of a realistic white grape, than a candy one. It has a light harshness to it which is countered by a smooth, sweet and juicy flesh feel. 

Theres a light bubblegum base here as well. Not you’re usual hubba bubba, but more of an old school gumball profile, a little dryer, but still very sweet. This also has a slight astringent-ness to it, but because it is more of a background note, is not really noticeable.

You’ll also find Menthol/Cooling Agents in this flavour. More-so cooling agent, that chill really drives home on the inhale giving your mouth a real cool down, and an icy throat. Go easy on higher wattage devices!

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale is instant grape, it’s light at the beginning but gradually intensifying as you inhale, right alongside the cooling agent. It’s a genuinely natural grape, with a juice feel, and light skin undertones flushed over with a sweet grape flesh texture. 

Through this grape, you’ll notice a light gumball note, almost hidden at first, but like the grape and the cooling agent, gradually increasing in intensity the further you inhale. Not strong at all, the bubblegum simply compliments the grape without becoming a dominant flavour.

As you recover from the chill of the cooling agent, the grape and bubblegum consistently flow over to the exhale, keeping the same intensity and flavour levels, as the cooling agent wanes and your mouth warms up a little.

You’re then left with a light menthol, and a nice juicy combination of realistic fleshy grape, and old school gumball for the big finish! 

Final thoughts

A great mix that will always go down well. It’s a grab and go flavour that you just can’t go wrong with.

I particularly liked the addition of the light bubblegum, which of course compliments the grape wonderfully. While the bubblegum shines through at a very nice level, you can hit this one on higher watts for a bigger bubblegum blast!

The only thing I could pick on was that the grape can have a slight astringent feel to it on a big pull. Perhaps lowering the levels of this, and adding another different grape might smooth this out a little. Seriously, I’m really being picky when I say that. It really is great as it is.

All day vape material? Yep! Sweet and tasty? Yep! Plenty of flavour? Yep!

This one pretty much ticks all of the boxes, and is a fantastic go-to juice that will vape brilliantly in almost any setup!

Very nice presentation here. I recieved dark tinted 60ml Chubby Gorilla styled bottles with child proof, sealed cap and a needle tip dispenser.

Juice hero have done a wonderful job with the labels, the collection name and juice name are front and centre, with nice professional graphic backgrounds.

Test rigs:

Haku with slam cap running a single 0.17 framed staple coil on a mech mod.
Augvape Intake RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
