e-Liquid Review: Passion for Mango from the Fruit Monster range

e-Liquid Review: Passion for Mango from the Fruit Monster range

Sometimes you happen across a range of great solid flavours. Nothing too fancy, just professional and artfully developed flavours that simply work. They don’t necessarily feel complex, but we all know that getting that great taste absolutely perfect takes time and experience.

Subtle complimentary notes breathe life into each flavour, creating depth and a fullness to really appreciate.

Big Boy Cloudz’ have done that with this range, actually, every one of their ranges!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Passion for Mango” from the Fruit Monster range.

(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor for review.)

Flavour Description

[From the website]
“A frightening combo of Passionfruit and Mango.”

The Review

Mango seems to be the fruit of the year with everyone jumping on this tropical sensation, and creating their very own vision of it in vape form. Some are juicy, others not so much. I kind of love them all, so this is definitely one e-liquid I was looking forward to.

“Passion for Mango” is a juicy and sweet fresh Mango flesh, silky texture and all, complimented by light floral and bittersweet tones from the supporting passionfruit

“Delightfully sweet juicy Mango complimented and deepened by bittersweet passionfruit”

Individual Notes

Obviously the Mango is the dominant flavour, it’s sweet, syrupy and juicy. It has a very fleshy texture, silky smooth and robust. I’m not picking up any adverse flavours or notes in this, just a genuine fresh mango.

The passionfruit is a little difficult to pick due to the strength of the mango, but you’ll find a light floral note with a little bitterness just hiding under the surface of the mango. Being more of a supporting flavour, the passionfruit isn’t over the top, not is it a contender for strongest flavour ever, it’s there to compliment and draw notice to the smoothness of the mango, and that is exactly what it does.

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, I instantly get juicy mango, sweet juicy mango flesh. It’s fresh and has quite the impact. This mango increases in intensity as the inhale progresses, and reaches a high point at the top of the inhale.

Just before this happens, a hint of bitterness shows through from beneath the mango. Along with it the unmistakable floral notes of a passionfruit. This is very light to begin with even at this point, but it sets an undertone in place that will continue through the vape, creating a point of interest and an additional layer of complexity to the mango.

Once you hit the top of the inhale with the dominant sweet mango, and lighter passionfruit, both increase quite a lot in intensity. The flavour blend stays constant with no shifting, the mango dominating all the way through.

Smooth, and silky mango also dominates the exhale with the passionfruit continuing as a contrasting note, enhancing the mango’s sweetness by shining a little bitterness on the palate, further driving this home as a very strong mango blend. Passionfruit and Mango? Nope, this is all Mango with a tickle of Passionfruit for depth.

Final thoughts

I was hoping to see a little more Passionfruit here. This flavour is truly dominated by the Mango, which is not a bad thing, but Passionfruit is a great flavour all it’s own I would have liked to have seen more of it.

All in all, a fantastic Mango blend, reminiscent of a Passionfruit/Mango fruit box or fruit drink, with very realistic fresh fruits, sweet and juicy.

Great work guys!
