eLiquid Review 483: Murica by Vape Wild

This week I’ll be looking at a juice line that we’ve all very much heard of.

Vape Wild, based out of Texas in the US, have been around for quite a while and started with the aim of  providing a more affordable juice line for vapers around the world. Well, they’ve certainly done that, with constant promotions, and great prices, they’ve built themselves a name and a following around the world for their 150+ flavour, affordable juice range.

Let’s see how their budget e-liquids stack up!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Murica” from VapeWild.
(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor for review.)

Flavour Description

[From the website]

Oh beautiful for spacious skies and tart sweet popsicles!  Murica is a top-seller simply because it reminds you of hot summer days, dripping cherry limeade popsicles that are tri-colored treats and all things America.

Primary Flavors: Popsicle, Lemon Lime, Raspberry, Cherry

The Review

This one is described as a cherry limeade popsicle, one of those tri-colour treats you’d slurp up as a kid on a hot summer’s day. To me it is and it isn’t. Let me explain. While there definitely is a lemonade or “limeade” feel to it, that sweet popsicle or ice-block note, it’s not completely accurate.

To me “Murica” is more of a sweet cotton candy, with a lemonade blend, not entirely as described, but also not too far off the mark either.

Think of eating one of those white ice-blocks, popsicle, or icey-pole, except with not quite as sharp of a lemonade note in it, put a piece of cotton candy over it, take a bite, and you would get more of an idea of this one.

Individual Notes

The main notes that I get from this flavour, are candy based, mostly a very sweet lemonade candy, a little muddled and not so clean as you might expect. It’s a syrupy, almost cotton candy type of flavour, with sharper lemonade contrasts against that syrupy base.

There is apparently a cherry in this flavour also. I don’t get it. To me there just is no cherry at all. There is a trace of another fruit that is underlying and backs up the sweeter lemonade, which could be the cherry that is mentioned, but that is precisely it, very faint. Barely discernible as anything other than part of the lemonade.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale is sweet, a very cotton candy like sweetness with an underlying sweet fruit. It doesn’t feel like a cherry, perhaps a raspberry as it has quite a full rounded feel to it, however it is so very faint, it’s difficult to get much more out of it as a flavour other than an underlying sweetness.

The exhale is a slightly more complex lemon/lemonade sweetness. It’s sharper than the inhale, with a lemon and slightly carbonated feel to it. I wouldn’t exactly say a home made lemonade, but also wouldn’t call it a mass produced lemonade either.

Final thoughts

This one isn’t bad at all. Granted, it lacks a little in the intensity department and definitely is not as complex as expected, it is a pleasant vape, and something that can easily be vaped all day long.

Rather than that spot on cherry lemonade ice-block or popsicle as it’s described, I would say I get more of a syrupy lemonade, with cotton candy feel from this one.

A good effort, and a nice flavour, but it falls a little short of it’s intended profile. If you’re after something that is sweet, and not quite as strong as your usual premium flavours, give this one a shot, it is a nice juice, but if you’re expecting a smack of flavour, and an unmatched complexity, you will be a little disappointed.
