eLiquid Review: Monkey Business by Sydney Vape Co

eLiquid Review: Monkey Business by Sydney Vape Co

It seems like time has flown so quickly, I’m already onto the last of the 10 new flavours from Sydney Vape Co!

There has been a bunch of different profiles in this range, from fruits, sweets, and even a couple of specialty desserts! One thing is for sure, is that SVC have gone out of their way to make sure they get a good response from this new range. They’re delicious, expertly mixed and every single flavour, has a very good flavour intensity to it, so you can be sure, you’re going to get some pretty decent vaping.

This next one is both a fruit and a dessert all rolled into one!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Monkey Business” from Sydney Vape Co.
(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor for review.)

Flavour Description

[From the website]
“Our office monkey has suited up and whipped together some serious Monkey Business. Banana cheesecake drenched in delicious creamy custard. ”

The Review

I’ve enjoyed this a lot. Usually banana vapes aren’t my thing, I just seem to get bored of them easily, but this has a nice cool realistic banana feel to it, all the while, providing a little more complexity in the cheesecake, to give it a thick, creamy dessert feel.

Banana cream this is not. It does have that familiar Banana Cream nuance, but there is much more to this than just the cream. Throw in some biscuity/pie base, some meringue, and some rich custard and you’re beginning to get the idea!

“While this is a fairly simple flavour profile, the cheesecake and custard work really well with the realistic banana to create a deep and delicious dessert vape.”

Individual Notes

The banana, is quite realistic. It’s very much a banana flesh taste, sweet, and rounded out, fluffy and a more bottom end base flavour than a highlight, but because of this it carries through right until the end of the vape.

The cheesecake, you’d expect to have more of a biscuit or pie base to it, but I’m finding that it is more of the middle of the cheesecake, with a defining meringue kind of tone, and a marshmallow like texture.

The custard is light, more a vanilla than a custard, and takes the edge off of the cheesecake, smoothing things out and adding to that thick dessert feel.

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, I first notice the banana, quite a realistic fresh banana, newly peeled, it actually even has that cold creamy consistency, like it’s just been taken out of the fridge. Well that’s the texture talking anyway, this DOES NOT have any menthol nor cooling agent.

As the inhale continues, the banana gets even more intense, with a noticeable banana cream feel to it, not overbearing at all, just a really nice full flavour.

As I hit the top of the inhale and move onto the exhale, cheesecake tones appear quietly at first, with the meringue and stickiness in the texture scaling up as the exhale continues. The cheesecake is not really a bisuit or a pie base, more the tart meringue that you get from the middle, it gives a wonderfully thick feeling to the exhale, and a sugary sweetness also.
The custard is stronger here also, more vanilla than rich caramel tones, but that’s perfect to me. A nice fluffy vanilla custard is a welcome addition.

The end of the exhale finishes with all the previous flavours blended smoothly into the one, sticky, thick and creamy, banana dessert.

Final thoughts

A simple blend but a good one. Sometimes, simple is all that is needed to create a great flavour, and SVC have proved that with this flavour.

Relying more on the creams than any type of cheesecake biscuit base, this Banana custard is luxurious, thick and creamy, and above all a very smooth and satisfying vape.

Could I pick on anything? No, I think this one flies well as it is. It’s a great mix, and probably one of my favourite banana dessert vapes!

Do note, that this is more of a banana cream, than a banana cheesecake, as the description implies 😉

Well done guys!

Presentation:

As always, Sydney Vape Co, have some impressive presentation. Each bottle comes in it’s own similarly branded box. I received 30ml clear Chubby Gorilla style bottles with black child-proof caps, tamper proof ring-seal, and needle tip dispenser.

The labelling is comprehensive with juice name, respective imagery and company logo front and centre. General warnings, ingredients, bottle size, and even flavour profile are printed on the colour coded matt finish labels.

Most impressive of all is the use of “Born on” and “Batch Number” stamps. This is a great addition to any label, and builds confidence, letting the consumer know how old their bottle of juice really is.

If you haven’t seen them yet, SVC also have some fancy pants sample boxes available, so that you can try all of their flavours in smaller bottles, the whole set is only $59.99 which is some pretty great value!
