e-Liquid Review: Mari’s Mangoes from Affinity Creations
Welcome back folks, as you know, I’m smack bang in the middle of reviewing the Affinity Creations range of eliquids, and so far I’ve been pretty impressed with them, being very well balanced as well as quite a good choice of profiles.
Today’s flavour is a little special to it’s creator, it was made for her wife, and finally nailed the recipe after many trials of trying to find a flavour that she would fall in love with.
As luck would have it, I’d just loaded up this next flavour on Friday, and didn’t want to pop a review of it up after only the one day, so instead, I’ve given it the full weekend so that I can get a good taste for it. I’m glad I did, because it’s still going strong, and I’m really enjoying this one!
Today’s review is of “Mari’s Mangoes” from Affinity Creations.

The Review
Going by the bottle, this flavour was really meant to be delivered by a POD device, something with a smaller coil, but at a higher temperature, rather than my usual mechanical+RDA setup that I tend to review with.
So I’ve popped some in my Dvarw tank on a tiny 18350 Atto mod to give it a good run also!
Mangoes are a pretty blunt flavour usually, they’re smooth, sweet and if you’re not familiar, the flesh is very silky, a really creamy kind of fruit, and that doesn’t change when converted over to a vaping flavour.
This is no different, it’s all of those things, plus a little more. Cooling.
That’s right Affinity Creations have added a little cooling to this Mango, not only to satisfy all of you chilled flavour lovers, but to also add a new dynamic to the overall profile.

Individual Notes
Obviously there is mango here. It’s the usual sweet, smooth and silky Mango that you’d have tried before in other blends. The first mango is a duller, fuzzier flavour, it has a more background, creamy nature to it and provides much of the texture in this one.
This juice is not only full flavoured, but if you’re a Mango lover like me, you’ll notice after a while that there is a little more to this than the one Mango.
I notice a slightly sharper, more driven Mango in here too, that hits right in the mid-range. It’s a little brighter than the smooth Mango, and puts a cleaner sweetness through the blend in contrast.
Last but not least, is the cooling. What I believe is purely WS23 is blended at the perfect level for this juice. It not only adds a light chill to the vape, but it does not over-run the Mango at all, so you can be sure you’ll enjoy the full range of this fruit without the cooling ruining it.
Inhale & Exhale
On the inhale, the Mango hits instantly. At the beginning it is a very fuzzy, silky smooth fresh Mango flesh that not only hits you in the tastebuds but fills your mouth with it’s volume. This gets a little stronger as you inhale, but the flavour does not change a lot here.
As you begin to exhale, especially after giving your vape a nice big toot, you’ll notice a much cleaner, moister Mango. It contrasts with the duller, fuzzier inhale, and punches a more juicy Mango flesh across your tongue.
You’ll notice the cooling hit at this point too, and following the exhale right through to the end, that juicy Mango contrasting with the fuzzier inhale, and gradually increasing cooling, really makes for quite a flavoursome finish.
Final thoughts
This one is a great solid Mango flavour. It’s not complex, nor is it abundant with complimentary flavours or notes, but the contrast between the two mangoes makes for a simple yet dynamic tasty mix.
I’m not quite sure that the recommendations on this should limit you to a POD device. I found that on a MTL device you might not notice the juicier Mango come through, it’s a little more creamy, and that seems to be about it. But on a slightly more powerful and DTL device, those mid-range juicier Mango notes came through quite well and really drove this home for me.
No negatives to mention on this one, it’s just a great straight up flavour that is easily vaped all day long.
I’ve enjoyed every drop and you will too. If you’re a Mango lover, go out and grab yourself a bottle of this one, you definitely won’t regret it!

I received 60ml Tinted Chubby Gorilla bottles with child-proof and tamper-proof caps, needle tips and black cap.
The labels are quite striking with a parchment background and black and white flavour specific artwork with juice name front and centre.

I’ve heard that these labels were the creation of 4 separate people pulling together to knock out some fantastic artwork!
