eLiquid Review: Crumble – Vanilla Bean by FlavourKraft

eLiquid Review: Crumble – Vanilla Bean by FlavourKraft

Welcome back, this week I’m taking a look at some killer dessert flavours from FlavourKraft.

If you’ve never heard of them, that’s ok, they are a relatively new company based out of WA, who came together with the sole purpose of creating some really luxurious flavours. I reckon they’ve done a fantastic job!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Crumble – Vanilla Bean” from FlavourKraft.
(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor for review.)

Flavour Description

[From the website]
“Welcome to cheesecake heaven! Extra portions of Vanilla sit above a biscuit base to die for. It’s smooth, strong, fragrant and defining, and sets the bar beyond reach for all other Cheesecake e-liquids.”

Primary: Vanilla & Biscuit
Background: Custard & Cream

The Review

I don’t know about you guys, but there are a tonne of custard e-liquids around, and it’s not easy to find something that stands out from the pack.
Rest assured, “Crumble” is definitely a stand out!

This flavour offers smooth creams and tasty vanilla, a strong hit of custard with lighter biscuit tones, promising a depth of flavour that you’ll really be able to sink your teeth into!

“Smooth creams and rich vanilla custard, atop some light biscuit really sets the stage for a rich and decadent dessert flavour!”

Individual Notes

The vanilla custard in this is to die for. It’s a smooth and rich, strong vanilla, with silky creams and a nice thick texture that carries through the entire vape.

Theres some additional creams also, they provide a little bit of a sticky feel, not unlike a marshmallow, and help add more body to the custard. They’re fairly indistinguishable in flavour, and give off a sweet cream tone, thickening everything up even more.

The last individual flavour here is biscuit. I can’t say that it’s really very strong, because it is more of a background note. Not very prominent at all.
It comes across as a cheesecake base, crumbly yet light, well blended to compliment and make sure that the custard and creams are the main flavour notes.

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, I instantly get nice thick and sticky creams, with a hell of a lot of body to them, all the while being a little indistinguishable. The flavour of them is fleeting, and I can’t put my finger on the types of creams used.

This doesn’t last long however, because as the inhale continues, the Vanilla gradually works it’s way in getting stronger and stronger, pulling in quite a full flavoured vanilla custard along the way.

Silky smooth creams and rich almost caramel vanilla custard hit a crescendo at the top of the inhale, bringing them together in quite a deep and delectable dessert.

As I exhale, the strong custard and creams continue, but they’re joined by a faint crumble, a cheesecake biscuit base that slowly works it’s way into the mix adding even more depth and making things that little bit more complex. If you’ve ever had a sugar crumb cake, the biscuit is a little like that, slightly doughy with a crunchy sugary cheesecake base feel.

Continuing on, as I exhale, the biscuit intensifies, however, never really gets to the point where it becomes a dominant flavour. It’s a fantastic addition as a support and even though you may have trouble finding it at times, helps to prop up the creams and adds a lot more complexity.

This tasty custard/cream/biscuit blend carries through out to the end of the exhale, where I’m left with a sweet, yet thick textured dessert and a slight buttery note on the lips.

Final thoughts

This is a very good mix. Probably in my top 3 of custard type flavours that I’ve tried and really is a testament to FlavourKraft’s vision.

While I’ve found it to be more of a Vanilla Custard than a Cheesecake blend, I do notice those biscuit notes at periods during the vape, in particular the top of the inhale, where it contrasts against the cream and custard, and throughout the exhale as everything is coming together.

I wouldn’t change anything about this one, it’s a fantastic flavour, delivering on it’s promises, getting not only the flavour’s right, but that thick and sticky texture and full mouth feel had me tasting everything as intended.

Fantastic work guys! Love it!
