eLiquid Review: Cheach from the Fruit Monster range

Today I’ve got another interesting Aussie juice line that you’ll notice added to my review list. This one is called “Fruit Monster”. It’s another range brought to you big Big Boy Cloudz. The same guys responsible for “Vintage Cloud Co” and the “Dessert Man” lines.
Today, I’ll be reviewing “Cheach” from the Fruit Monster range.

The Review
If you’ve ever had a cherry based flavour, you’ll know that the majority of them out there, carry a very medicinal note to them. Very much like a cherry losenge, quite astringent, with a very dominating tone.
This isn’t just any cherry, it’s a candy cherry base with no icky medicine flavour, just sweet sweet cherry, tart green apples and rich thick peaches all blended together to create this wonderful summery flavour.
This is another one of those blends, that seemingly creates its own unique flavour from all of the notes added to it, rather than just being smaller amounts of each flavour put in.
This 3 fruit combination creates a very targeted and unique flavour, fruity, a little candy like, but bursting with flavour!

Individual Notes
The elephant in the room is the Cherry. The first thing you’ll ask is, Is it medicinal? You know that cough syrup, or losenge type of medicinal. No it’s not, this is a sweet and fruity, almost candy cherry, that does not dominate, instead relies on the other flavours and contributes to the overall flavour.
As you’d expect, the apple here is of course a sharp and tart green apple. Sweet and sour mix to provide a fresh apple flesh flavour that punches through the other flavours, yet is subtle enough to allow them to mingle and provide complimentary notes.
The peach. What can I say about this, it’s just perfect! Blending the peach with apple was genius, but also with cherry? A phenomenal fruit blend, the peach is sweet, and juicy, a quality robust flavour.
Inhale & Exhale
Cherry and peach light up the inhale, quietly at first and gradually increasing in intensity as you breathe in. The cherry at the top of the palate while the peach takes up the lower end of the flavour spectrum providing a nice thick and robust back note that continues through the entire vape, from start to finish.
Both of these flavours hit a crescendo at the top of the inhale, with both rolling in together to create quite a deep fruity flavour, with the cherry hitting the high notes and the peach filling the rest out with it’s sweet fleshy goodness. Once you hit the peak, a sharp yet fresh green apple comes into play, knocking the other fruits back to give it some more room, and turn this into a triple fruit combination. The green apple backing up the cherry and tying into it’s high note, whilst bridging out to the peach with it’s strong mid range.
As you exhale, all of the fruits start to play really well together, strengthening as they go, increasing in fruity intensity and really filling out the palate with their thicker sweeter combined texture.
It all finishes of as a fresh fruit flesh medley, sweet, with a little fresh tartness and a lovely distinct fruit bowl profile.
Final thoughts
This is a lovely fruit blend. I actually can’t remember the last pure fruit mix that I enjoyed as much as this one. It has all the hallmarks of a great fruit salad. Juicy, sweet with some complimentary tartness and a nice thick fresh profile.
I love that this trio creates a kind of one of a kind flavour, something that you don’t expect, and it’s a pleasant surprise, that’s for sure!
Would I change anything? Probably not, I would be interested to see how this went with a little extra cherry, making it a little more noticeable, but I suspect it might overtake the rest of the flavour.

Presentation:
Very nice presentation here. The bottles I received were 60ml Chubby Gorilla style bottles with child-proof caps and freshness seals, with needle tip dispensers.
The labels are bright and colourful and portray the branding really well, nice sharp lines and punchy graphics.
The labels display all of the information you might need including warnings, brand, eliquid name/flavour, ingredients and social media information.
Test rigs:
Original Haku Cruiser running a single 0.17 framed staple coil on a mech mod.
Augvape Intake RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
Bonza RDA with x2 Framed Stapled coils (0.2 ohm-ish)
