e-Juice Review: Vineyard – Classic Grape by Belmont Vape

Welcome back to another week of reviews! Today, I’ll be continuing on with the Belmont Vape Originals range, this one being the 2nd in the list!

If you haven’t heard of Belmont Vape Ejuice Co, they are a bunch of vaping enthusiasts based in Victoria, Australia, whom run their own online store, and have their own in-house branded e-liquids. They’ve been mixing these e-liquids since 2013 and aim to bring a ‘tried and true’ range to the vaping world.

Today I’ll be reviewing “Vineyard – Classic Grape” from Belmont Vape.

(This eliquid was supplied by Belmont Vape for review. )

Flavour Description

[From the website]
Vineyard: Sophisticated and delicious this is a true classic grape flavour

The Review

This is not your usual Grape. Often grape flavours are packed to the brim with bubblegum or hubba bubba notes, but not this one. It’s a little bit of a hybrid, a little candy, but more on the realistic side of the coin.

Think juicy green grapes, blended with a grape hard candy, and you’ll be close to what this flavour is.

Juicy grapes and Hard candy meld to create this profile, a little more realistic than your usual grape, but with a sweetness that will keep candy lovers cheering!

Individual Notes

Bridged across two profiles, fruit and candy this grape is a light yet sweet blend.

We saw a realistic Grape in my previous review of Belmont Vape’s “Bliss – Apples & Grapes” and this is a lot like that, light on flavour, quite juicy with a small organic nuance. This is similar only with a slight difference, it’s sweeter and with a little Grape candy added to really drive that sweetness home.

In fact you might even recognise this distinct grape candy flavour, it’s a little powdery, sweet, and very reminiscent of Grape Candy Sours, or Blackcurrant Millions.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale is that light and juicy fresh grape we all know and love, it’s sweet and refreshing, with a little tang. As light as it is, it gets stronger as I inhale, getting juicier as the intensity increases.

Almost at the top of the inhale, I notice a sweeter, more hard candy kind of flavour start moving through. The grape sour candy, is distinct as I mentioned before, a little bit of a blend of grape and blackcurrant hard candy. Smoother and not quite as sharp as you might expect a grape candy to be.

As I exhale, that grape candy really starts to form, as things get slightly powdery in texture, all the while staying fresh and sweet.
It’s at this point the candy is at it’s most intense and noticeable, it’s a difficult flavour to explain, but it’s a little artificial and sugary.

The rest of the exhale, sees the candy grape continue, with a slight undertone of realistic green grape, both fighting for dominance, but also working together quite well.

Final thoughts

I’ve quite enjoyed this one. It’s been a little lighter than many other grapes, but it also doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not. It doesn’t push that grape bubblegum note, which means that the mixers have not needed to try and push too much flavour out, as is what usually happens, happily keeping this light and fresh, and palatable for days on end.

I seriously have not even thought about changing flavours out with this, its become a go-to flavour, for something fruity, with a light candy finish that is pleasant to vape, a very solid flavour.

Well done guys!

PG/VG Ratio:

70VG/30PG

Sweet juicy grape with a slight powdery candy on the exhale

Presentation:

Excellent presentation here. Belmont have done a great job with their labels, portraying what they were going for perfectly. Think old school cordial, or fruit and veg shop logo and lettering.

I received 60ml chubby gorilla bottles, with child-proof and tamper proof lids, and a needle tip dispenser.

The labels are of a lovely design, with different coloured backgrounds for the differing flavours, and fancy old school graphics.

Front and center is the logo, juice name and flavour profile, and on the back you’ve got all the info you’ll ever need, ingredients, warnings, PG/VG ratio, bar code, and there’s even a bit of information on the back describing the juice range.

Test rigs:

Original Haku Cruiser running a single 0.17 framed staple coil on a mech mod/variable wattage mod.
Augvape Intake RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
