e-Juice Review: Bliss – Apples & Grapes by Belmont Vape

This week, I’ll be digging into an Aussie juice range you might not have heard of. Introducing “Belmont Vape Ejuice Company”.

These guys have been making their own mixes since 2013, and their ‘Originals’ range, which I have in my sweaty little hands, was created with the inspiration of “tried and true”, subtle yet sophisticated, classic flavours.

These are made using FDA approved, food grade flavouring, using a mixture of both natural and artificial flavours, that are diabetic, and vegan friendly, and contain no calories.

Let’s get stuck into the first one shall we!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Bliss – Apples & Grapes” from Belmont Vape.

(This eliquid was supplied by Belmont Vape for review. Much love guys!)

The Review

I have to admit, I was expecting something extra special from this one. I chose it because it’s a profile that I fancy right now, and was looking forward to a great fruity profile from it.

And fruity profile is exactly what I got!

Forget grape bubblegum, forget candy apple, this flavour is two realistic versions of those fruits blended together in a mash!

Individual Notes

The apple here is your bright fresh, sweet and tart apple, complete with full on acidic tones, and that sharp tartness you get as soon as you bite into one. No skin notes here, its all Green Apple fleshy and fresh.

The Grape is NOT your usual bubblegum styled grape that you’ll often get with vape flavours. This is your more realistic green grape from the vine, sweet, light hearted, and nice and juicy.

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, I instantly get the blend of both fruits, it creates an interesting flavour, quite sharp, with an organic undertone.
The tart apple is bright, and the grape pulls in through the background, yet somehow evenly blends with the apple, so that you get a very blended flavour out of it.

Both flavours intensify through the inhale, getting sweeter, tarter and brighter, creating an almost fruit mash type of feel.

Over to the exhale, things keep intensifying a little right up until about halfway through, as both fruits begin to even out, allowing my tastebuds to catch up, and really see both the apple and the grape notes come through.

The rest of the exhale pushes both fruits into a singular profile, bright, sharp, with earthy undertones.

Final thoughts

This one has definitely been interesting, I love the fact that Belmont have gone for realistic fruits with this one, individually, they both pull in familiar fruity notes that you’ll instantly recognise.

Unfortunately, and this is just my opinion, I’m not sure if the actual fruits work so well together. Blending of the two seems to work against what was intended and instead throws a little bit of an artificial flavour out at you, all the while trying to convince you that they are realistic fruits. Like I said the individual flavours are spot on, and portray their fruity counterparts really well, the blend let’s it down in my opinion.

Having said that, it’s a flavour that you’ll either love or hate, for me it’s a little too tart and punchy, but for some of you out there, it just might be your perfect all day vape.

Expect sharp apple tones, with earthy grape notes working in from behind the apple!

A very interesting flavour guys!

Freshly cut green apples and grapes from the vine

Coil and wick damage:

I’ve noticed zero wick or coil damage

PG/VG Ratio:

70VG/30PG

Texture:

Sweet and tart with an organic backnote.

Presentation:

Excellent presentation here. Belmont have done a great job with their labels, portraying what they were going for perfectly. Think old school cordial, or fruit and veg shop logo and lettering.

I received 60ml chubby gorilla bottles, with child-proof and tamper proof lids, and a needle tip dispenser.

The labels are of a lovely design, with different coloured backgrounds for the differing flavours, and fancy old school graphics.

Front and center is the logo, juice name and flavour profile, and on the back you’ve got all the info you’ll ever need, ingredients, warnings, PG/VG ratio, bar code, and there’s even a bit of information on the back describing the juice range.

Test rigs:

Original Haku Cruiser running a single 0.17 framed staple coil on a mech mod/variable wattage mod.
Augvape Intake RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
