e-Juice Review: Strawberry Apple from Priority Blend’s “Chilled” Range
Mid week review time! And yep, you guessed it, I’m taking a look at Priority Blend’s “Chilled” range. Only 2 to go!
The entire “Chilled” range is designed for menthol, or cooling lovers, and offers an extra chilled, well, chill! These aren’t you usual level of cold, Priority Blends have made sure to make these super chilled, so take it easy on your higher wattage setups!
Today I’ll be reviewing “Strawberry Apple” from Priority Blend’s “Chilled” range of e-liquids.
(This eliquid was supplied by Priority Blends for review. )
Flavour Description
[From the website]
Strawberry Apple.. Sweet strawberries and sour apples with a icy cold chilled hit.
The Review
What a great combination this is, Strawberry with it’s sweet tartness, often sharp and bright, blended with juicy, slightly acidic and sweet green apple.
These two fruits provide a lovely background base, as well as brighter, taller notes offering up complexity, but above all, a fruity punch of flavour!
Individual Notes
The apple is most definitely the stronger of the two fruits in this blend. Sharp and juicy slightly acidic apple flesh, that’s quite fresh and gives off that Green Apple or Granny Smith vibe. I’m not noticing any skin notes here, it’s all juicy apple flesh.
The strawberry in this is a brighter, slightly candy strawberry, it adds a slightly syrupy sweet feel to the mix, and handles a lot of the background while the apple seems to wash over the top of it.
The cooling, as with the rest of the Priority Blend’s Chilled range, is icy cold, slightly cooler than your usual menthol blends, and most noticeable on the inhale and toward the end of the exhale.
Inhale & Exhale
On the inhale, I notice traces of both fruits from the start, the Green apple is the dominant note here, but the Strawberry seems to provide a slightly syrupy, thicker and fuller background candy profile.
Gradually getting stronger as the inhale continues, the Apple really does shine through, not quite as strong as many sole apple flavours, but tipping off at just a nice intensity, strong enough to get those lovely apple flesh notes across without going overboard.
Toward the top of the inhale, the strawberry gets even more noticeable, as does the cooling, which is really driving the coldness home at this point. As things get colder and begin to hit their crescendo, that chill gets you right at the back of the throat as the strawberry provides a more candy sweet, almost syrup like texture, working in really well with the cooling agent to create quite a dynamic flavour.
On the exhale, things switch around a little as the coldness drops off briefly, and the strawberry pushes to the back of the mouth. Breathing out sees the apple rush forward again washing over the strawberry as the cooling begins to come back intensified by the exhale.
The end of the exhale, is similar as the strawberry hangs back, a background note, almost caught at the back of the palate as the flow on from the exhale leaves you exhaling sweet apple tones, with a chilly mouth feel.
Final thoughts
This is a really great mix. Many other Strawberry & Apple blends tend to go a little too far on intensity in my opinion, but Priority Blends have kept things at quite a nice level. Not too intense or obnoxious, but also not too light and washed out either. Holding the strawberry back gives the apple the opportunity to soar with the cooling, whilst still providing a lovely sugar, syrupy backdrop.
A truly lovely fruity blend, well done guys!

No need to steep this one.
Presentation:
The Priority Blends “Chilled” range has some pretty cool presentation. I received 60ml tinted Chubby Gorilla bottles with child-proof and tamper-proof caps and needle tip dispenser. What’s a little unusual, however is how much juice is in the bottle. Priority fill their 60ml bottles with 50ml of eliquid! This, I’m assuming is to give some room in the top of the bottle for users to add their nicotine. Very clever!
The labels are pretty simple, black gloss labels with colour cartoony graphics, the brand and flavour front and centre, along with the PB logo and “CHILLED” in big bold lettering. Other information that can be found on the labels are: Eliquid size=50ml, warnings, ingredients, VG/PG ratio, 0mg nicotine declaration, barcode and Priority Blends social media and website information.
Test rigs:
Original Haku Cruiser running a single 0.17 framed staple coil on a mech mod/variable wattage mod.
Augvape Intake RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
