e-Juice Review: Pineapple Chill from Priority Blend’s “Chilled” Range

e-Juice Review: Pineapple Chill from Priority Blend’s “Chilled” Range

It’s another week and that means another bunch of reviews for you guys to chew on! This week I’m continuing on with Priority Blend’s “Chilled” range, following on from the three that I reviewed last week.

This week will see us take a look at “Pineapple Chill”, “Strawberry Apple” and “Strawberry Peach”.

This new range from Priority Blends, takes on a whole new level of cold, with some of their best sellers, tweaked and modified to best purpose the addition of some ice cold cooling agent, and let me tell you, these guys don’t muck around! These are freeeeeeezzzzzzziinnnnnggggg!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Pineapple Chill” from Priority Blend’s “Chilled” range of e-liquids.

(This eliquid was supplied by Priority Blends for review. )

Flavour Description

[From the website]
Pineapple Chill – sweet and succulent pineapples with a chilled hit. Perfect for those long hot summer days!

The Review

I usually hate pineapple flavours, they often carry an over-ripened dull note that puts me off, and come across as more of a cooked pineapple than the fresh fruit that you’d expect.

I get none of that here, its actually really fresh, bright and sweet pineapple that works so well with the cooling!

Fresh tangy pineapple meets a big chill in this juice, a lovely bright and sweet blend!

Individual Notes

I’m sure there is a lot more going on than meets the eye with this flavour, but it’s primarily a pineapple with cooling.

The pineapple is a lovely bitey fresh pineapple, sweet, with a little tartness that comes through at the top of the inhale.

The cooling in this one is similar to the other flavours in this range, a little cooler than most flavours with cooling agent, you’ll get the freeze mostly on the inhale, and a little on the exhale. If you think you can get away with vaping this at 100 watts with a fully open airflow, you’d be kidding yourself, this will chill you to the core!

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, you’ll notice the pineapple straight away, it’s a really sweet pineapple, with a slightly warmer syrupy feel here, not quite at it’s full intensity but it builds as you inhale.

Building up to the top of the inhale, this warmer pineapple brightens up as the cooling agent appears, cooling everything down, and allowing the cooling agent’s freshness to flip the profile around to a slightly tart, fresher pineapple like you’ve just taken it out of the fridge.

As you exhale, things warm up again with the dropping of the cooling agent, but the pineapple still remains fresh and bright, and doesn’t revert to its lighter former self, instead pushing ahead with a really nice solid sweet fruit that is robust enough on it’s own to keep things interesting.

Toward the end and at the end of the exhale, the cooling kicks back in a little giving you a lovely chilled pineapple flesh finish, full of flavour leaving you wanting even more.

Final thoughts

Great work here on a pineapple that I can get around! Priority Blends have achieved what many have not, with a bright and fresh pineapple, with just enough flavour to breach the cooling agent, without becoming dull and over-flavoured.

It’s testament to the blend, that I’ve vaped this one all weekend, and enjoyed every minute of it!

Great work guys!

Where to Buy:

The entire Priority Blends “Chilled” range can be purchased through any of their other stockists around the country.
The “Chilled” range is also available for wholesale through Oz Eliquid.

Colour:

Clear

Aroma:

Fresh Pineapple

Coil and wick damage:

I’ve noticed a small amount of coil gunking, so there must be a little sweetener in here, but nothing over the top.

PG/VG Ratio:

70VG/30PG

Texture:

Juicy sharp and sweet pineapple

Steeping:

No need to steep this one.

Presentation:

The Priority Blends “Chilled” range has some pretty cool presentation. I received 60ml tinted Chubby Gorilla bottles with child-proof and tamper-proof caps and needle tip dispenser. What’s a little unusual, however is how much juice is in the bottle. Priority fill their 60ml bottles with 50ml of eliquid! This, I’m assuming is to give some room in the top of the bottle for users to add their nicotine. Very clever!

The labels are pretty simple, black gloss labels with colour cartoony graphics, the brand and flavour front and centre, along with the PB logo and “CHILLED” in big bold lettering. Other information that can be found on the labels are: Eliquid size=50ml, warnings, ingredients, VG/PG ratio, 0mg nicotine declaration, barcode and Priority Blends social media and website information.

Test rigs:

Original Haku Cruiser running a single 0.17 framed staple coil on a mech mod/variable wattage mod.
Augvape Intake RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
