eJuice Review 383: Rumble by The Barton Vape Co
I’ve been really looking forward to this all week, but in my usual style, I’ve held off for as long as I can, and of course the anticipation has gotten the better of me 🙂
Many of The Barton Vape Co’s range are full on tobaccos, but not this one, this is a bit of a tobacco hybrid. Let’s see what this one is all about!
Today, I’ll be reviewing “Rumble”.
(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor.)
Flavour Description
This is a juice to stimulate the senses. An amazing combination of coconut and rum with a tobacco twist
The Review:
As I mentioned in the intro, “Rumble” isn’t your typical tobacco vape. Where with many, the tobacco is the dominant flavour, in this one, not so much. That’s not to say that the tobacco is not noticeable, it totally is, but its not all there is.
“Rumble” is a pretty deep flavour, by that I mean, there are a few different layers to it, and the flavour isn’t just one dimensional. It’s a light tobacco, with undertones of rum, a deceptive chocolate, and coconut shavings that set the exhale off brilliantly.
Individual Notes
The tobacco, is very similar to The Barton Vape Co’s other flavours, it’s similar to a light virginia tobacco, a little sweet with light vegetal nuances and a smokey finish. It’s not so much dialed back in this flavour, more joined by the other two dominant notes, to create a rich blend.
The rum is difficult to pick, not by intensity, but which kind of rum it actually is. I’m picking up more of a sweet profile, with a light alcohol feel, almost a bourbon but much much smoother.
Coconut follows through after the other notes, and is a sweet, but not candy based coconut, it has more of a realistic coconut flake feel, just like you’d get on a lamington, or a real rum ball.
Inhale & Exhale
Straight away, as with many of their other juices, “Rumble” gives me that unmistakeable sweet tobacco. It’s a little sticky, but also dryish with a smokey finish. You’ll notice it more up front, as soon as you begin your inhale, and less on the exhale.
The tobacco is quickly followed up with the rum. It’s a sweet rum, full textured, with light alcohol taller notes, but a pretty heavy base note. This base note combined with the tobacco lends itself to a little bit of a deceptive chocolate profile, not sweet chocolate, but a richer fully textured chocolate.
Is there actually chocolate in here? Who knows, but I’m suspecting not. I think that chocolate feel is not only the combination of the tobacco and heavy chocolate, but the coconut coming into play helps to create this illusion also.
Over to the exhale, that chocolate feel is still there, it gets a little sweeter, as I notice the realistic coconut appear more and more, creating a contrast to it, and giving the perception that the previous flavours are a lot sweeter than they actually are. A brilliant move using this type of coconut, and it really does finish off the exhale perfectly.
I’m left with a really authentic rum ball flavour, and a light smokey finish.
Final thoughts
My expectations were completely satisfied with “Rumble”, even more so. It’s a brilliant mix, and an interesting take on the traditional rum ball! The three profiles blend really well together to create a deeper flavour with each appearing at different times during the vape cycle, none out performing the other but working synchronously, to create one fantastic well rounded flavour.
Definitely my favourite so far, excellent work guys!

Presentation:
I’m really liking the clean professional presentation of The Barton range. It’s straight to the point, clear and concise, and visually appealing. I have right here, 30ml black tinted LDPE bottles with child-proof cap and needle tip dispenser. The labels are professionally printed, with a different pattern for each flavour, the Barton Vape Co logo front and centre, as well as the juice name, and the words “Ready to Vape”.
As for information on the labels, they have the usual stuff, but a little more interesting, this is the first time I’ve come across an Aussie vendor going to the trouble of mentioning nuts, soy and dairy. Specifically, “May contain traces of tree nuts, soy and dairy”.
If indeed many eliquids “could” contain any of these things, this should be on every bottle from every vendor. Great work on that guys.
Test rigs:
Haku with slam cap running a single 0.17 framed staple coil on a mech mod.
OBS Engine RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
