eJuice Review 375: Predator by Outrun Vape

eJuice Review 375: Predator by Outrun Vape

One thing that I’ve noticed about Outrun Vape is their affinity to dessert vapes. In fact, bar one, all of their eliquids are desserts!

With a 4 to 1 ratio, what are the odds that I’d pick their only fruit flavour out of the box to review next? Who am I kidding, I would have picked it anyway, because it smells wonderful!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Predator” by Outrun Vape.

(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor.)

Flavour Description

The Predator would have no trouble camouflaging amongst this tantalising medley of tropical fruits including mango, papaya and kiwi.
The Review:

I’m not quite sure how the “Predator” ties in with this juice, whether it is just a really cool name, or it’s because of it’s tropical nature. You see in the movie, Arnie and his buddies were dropped into Guatelama, Central America = tropical. Or is it? I fear only the Predator himself could answer this one!

Having said all of that, “Predator” the eliquid, is a lovely tropical fruit mix, bright and sweet, with strong overtones of papaya and mango, and a little kiwi that just pops, blending everything together really nicely.

Individual Notes

The lower tones of the sweet mango and Papaya, really drive this flavour, they give it some punch and quite a lot of it’s texture.
Together, they create a really fleshy, slightly earthy note that provides most of the depth.

The kiwi fruit punches through the middle of the lower tones, providing a little bit of acidity, and really brightening everything up, emphasising the sweetness and adding a little character. There is no skin note here, its all kiwi flesh, with the tiniest bit of seed nuance.

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, the sweet acidity that is the kiwi is front and centre, it has a gelatonous and fleshy feel to it, really juicy and sets the stage for the rest of the vape.

At the turn of the inhale and onto the exhale, I begin to pick up on the Papaya initially, it brings with it a little substance. Again, a really fleshy papaya, sweet and really adding to the kiwi. The mango appears next, just like the Papaya, it is sweet, but it also has a little bit of an earthy note to it too.

Together the Papaya and Mango create a really nice thick texture, whilst still being sweet and fruity.

Just as I begin to think the Mango and Papaya, are it on the exhale, the kiwi appears again, punching through them both, bringing with it that sharp acidity, brightening up the mix, also then smoothing out, leaving an almost apple note to the end of the exhale.

Final thoughts

For their only fruit flavour, Outrun have definitely hit the mark with this one. It’s sure to be an instant hit for the fruit vapers out there!

I love the fact that it is full flavoured, yet smooth. All of the flavours blend almost seamlessly, each bouncing off of each other, creating quite a depth to the profile, whilst still staying true to the sweet and tart tropical theme.

Great work on this one guys! You’re on a roll!

I love Outrun Vape’s branding. I don’t often approach vendors and offer to do reviews, but I just couldn’t help myself with Outrun. Their branding has a really cool retro/futuristic style with neons and pre millennium film references.
I received black plastic unicorn bottles with child-proof caps, needle tip dispenser, with really cool retro labels. The labels have all of the information you’ll need on them including: PG/VG ratio, juice name, logo, warnings, even an 18+ R Rating!

Haku with slam cap running a single 0.17 framed staple coil on a mech mod.
