eJuice Review 311: Iced Jam Biscuits by Bunyip Vapes

Today I’ve got the last of the Bunyip Vapes flavours up for review. I must say, Bunyip Vapes’ range has been a great bunch of flavours. Primarily dessert profiles, Ive found them to all be packed full of flavour, delicately and masterfully mixed with attention to layering and detail.

Today I’ll be reviewing, “Iced Jam Biscuits”!

This juice was supplied by the vendor.

From the website:

Jam and coconut iced short biscuit. For a civilised vape break.

A staple of morning teas around the country, the iced biscuit is accepted in even the most selective of company. A crunchy short biscuit with just the right amount of strawberry and coconut icing. It will certainly have you raising your pinky.

The Review:

Everyone’s favourite biscuit is back with “Iced Jam Biscuits”. This one is a little bit different than other Iced Vovo mixes though. Rather than using a raspberry jam, Bunyip Vapes have gone with a strawberry instead. Its a nice change and gives a slightly different feel to the whole thing. Gone is the sweet and tart sticky raspberry.

“Iced Jam Biscuits” is a Strawberry Jam biscuit mix with highlights of candied coconut, thick sweet cream and marshmallow!

Individual Notes

I pick up several different complimentary flavours in this juice. They all work really well together and accent each other wonderfully.

First up, the Strawberry is quite a sweet fresh strawberry. It’s not as tart as many and really more of a strawberry gummy with earthy hints of the real thing.

Next up is the biscuit. This feels quite genuine, I know that original vovo’s are made from wheat biscuits. This isn’t quite a wheat biscuit but more of a graham cracker, but a little sweeter combined with the other notes in the mix. A sweet, softer graham cracker if you will.

The rest is a candy coconut, sweet cream and marshmallow mix. The latter could be argued, but I’m finding that this combination is definitely giving off a little bit of a marshmallow vibe. It’s a thick and creamy marshmallow and cream with highlights of candy coconut sprinkled over the top.

Inhale & Exhale

This flavour comes together quite early.

On the inhale I pickup mainly sweet strawberry and marshmallow cream notes. Its thick and creamy with the sweet yet fresh strawberry shining through just nicely. I get a little bit of the biscuit here too, but its only a faint note.

Right away, on the beginning of the exhale, the biscuit makes it’s presence known with it’s light dryness, yet smooth sweet doughy nature. Along with it comes the coconut. Coming across as more like coconut flakes, this candied coconut is light, and really is just a hint, adding a little extra complexity.

Both the biscuit and coconut, blend in with the strawberry and creams immediately, creating an entire flavour profile quickly, rather than lingering on their individual notes.

The end of the exhale is the full gammit of nuances coming together to create the one unique flavour that is creamy, sweet, with hightlights of strawberry and coconut, and base biscuit notes all rolled into one.

Final thoughts

While not an authentic Iced Vovo likeness, the similarities are unmistakeable, and is quite a good representation of the real thing.
This is a fairly clean juice considering the creams and biscuit base, and has a lovely thick texture to it. Another one for the dessert vapers, you’ll definately get a kick out of this one.

Well done Bunyip Vapes.
