eJuice Review 312: The Contortionist by Aunty Kat’s Sumptuous Blends

Here we go guys, the last of the Aunty Kat’s range of flavours, and this one really is like no other 🙂

Today I’ll be reviewing, “The Contortionist”!

This juice was supplied by the vendor.

From the website:

In Concinnity style, she forges the tropical medley nestled on layers of ice.
Sensuously, the crowd applaud for more.

The Review:

I don’t think I’ve ever been thrown like this with a juice. Granted, the description is totally vague, but I’ll usually work out the various notes and nuances of a juice pretty quickly. Not so here.

I’m on my fourth day, at the end of the bottle, and have no definitive idea of what I’ve been vaping all of this time.

It’s not flavour fatigue, and not my build, Ive just recently recoiled and run another ‘tropical’ flavour through and had no issues with picking the notes.

So far, all that I’ve decided, is that “The Contortionist” is a delicate mix of sweet tropical fruits, with a light mentholated exhale, perfect for summer I might add.

This mix is tough, I’m suspecting some very similar flavour profiles combined and mixed with a light hand here!

Individual Notes

A few things make this juice tough to pick. The overall profile is of similar fruits. It’s fairly light and sweet. There is no real definition and difference in the inhale versus the exhale.

The biggest secret is in the description. Tropical.
Don’t think tropical, like coconut, mandarin, orange, lime, banana though.
Think fruits with very similar characteristics. IE.. Dragonfruit, passionfruit, mango, papaya, even nectarine. This has a real “Fruit box” or “Fruit juice” feel to it.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale is sweet, a fruity cordial sweet, it’s quite thick, and reminiscent of one of those fruit boxes we all had as kids. Not quite fresh fruit but not quite artificial either.

I get a dragonfruit/passionfruit vibe throughout the vape, not just on the inhale but the exhale as well.

It’s hard to tell, but sometimes I find that I get a little bit of a mango nuance in here too. It’s very light and more of the sweeter aspect of a mango than the earthiness you would usually get.

The exhale is quite similar to the inhale, more of that light sweet dragonfruit and passionfruit. Here we also have a hint of peach or nectarine appearing through the lighter fruits. It’s barely noticeable but definately there.

Further along, we have a nice chilled menthol cooling everything down. The menthol is at a really great level too, not too much but just enough to make its presence known.

Final thoughts

I may not know exactly what this is, but it is a really nice juice. Fruity, sweet and chilled is a perfect combo for summer, and Ive enjoyed this one very much.

Have you tried this flavour before? If you have, let me know in the comments the flavours you have picked up.

Great job in confusing the hell out of me Aunty Kat!
