eJuice Review 338: Green Jacket (Black Label) by The Classic Vape Co

Today’s juice up for review is an interesting one, while any 3 of the four flavours would have given plenty of complexity, The Classic Vape Co have expertly thrown a fourth flavour in with the mix!

Four unrelated fruits, mixed into the one flavour? Is it a catastrophe or pure genius?

Today I’ll be reviewing “Green Jacket”.

Flavour Description:

The Ultimate Trophy Of Its Class. Sugary Watermelon, Ripe Pears and Sweet Mango With An Apricot Finish.

The Review:

When I read the flavour description of this one, my initial thought was, “How the hell are they going to get this to work?”. You wouldn’t think that these four flavours could work together, much less actually blend into something spectacular!

“Green Jacket” is a complex blend of four completely differing fruits, expertly mixed to take advantage of each of their strengths, to create a smooth eliquid, packed with flavour that seems to shift and change on every vape!

Individual Notes

Watermelon is a popular fruit with this range, this one is a light watermelon candy, a little realistic, adding a great base for the other flavours to contrast from.

I don’t notice a lot of pear in this juice, but it is definitely there, blending rather well between the watermelon and the mango, bridging the gap with a little bit of a smooth sweetness.

The mango is a realistic fleshy mango that lifts this juice to another level. A fantastic into to the richer notes of the apricot.

Just like the mango, the apricot lifts the other flavours, a little richer of course, but giving this juice that deeper flavour and providing an extra layer of complexity and fullness.

Inhale & Exhale

This flavour changes, it really does. It changes with different wattages, and also changes throughout the vape with dominance jumping from flavour to flavour.

I’ve noticed that on lower wattages, the watermelon is quite prominent, whereas on higher and hotter setups, the mango and apricot are a lot more noticeable. Almost as though the watermelon and pear support cooler temperatures, and mango and apricot thrive on warmer.

On the inhale, its all watermelon and pear, the watermelon provides the fullness in the flavour, that background note that is the backbone, while the pear lingers over it adding just that little hint of sweet acidic pear flesh. It’s sweet and sugary at this stage, and really could stand alone as its very own flavour.

At the turn of the inhale onto the exhale, the mango breaks through, and begins to dominate, as the watermelon falls to the background. Its a sweet juicy mango with a real fleshy feel, brightening everything and lifting this flavour right up.

Toward the end of the exhale, I notice the richer apricot appearing through the mango, its a nice introduction to the more syrupy flavour, and the apricot finishes off this flavour really nicely. It all finishes off as a lovely mix of heavy mango, with a succulent apricot flesh and a light watermelon that fades off into the end of the exhale.

Final thoughts

I initially thought this would be a little too over the top for me, but The Classic Vape Co have done an outstanding job of getting these flavours to seamlessly mix and work well together.

This one is my favourite of the range so far. It does contain a little bit of sweetener, more than the others and will gunk your wicks and coils over a few days. It’s all worth it though, with it’s tasty, juicy fruits and perfect flavour intensity! What a great flavour!

Steeping is not necessary with this one.

Presentation:

I received 60ml clear chubby gorilla bottles with child proof lids and needle like nibs for easy filling. The presentation of the label is a little bit classy with The Classic Vape Co logo, and imagery giving off a nice expensive vibe.
Overall some really nice presentation, with all of the information you might need.
