eJuice Review 339: Yacht Club (Black Label) by The Classic Vape Co

Today I’m onto the last of the Classic Vape Co’s “Black Label” range of eliquids. This has been quite a tasty line, with flavour intensity benchmarked to a reasonable level and not overpowering like many modern flavours. They use minimal sweetener in their liquids, which is a huge plus for me also. Throw in some unique and complex fruits, and you’ve got a winner.

I’ve had a great time reviewing this range, but all good things must come to an end, so with out dragging this into out any further, lets take a look at the last one.

Today I’ll be reviewing “Yacht Club”.
(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor)

Flavour Description:

Sail away to the delicious flavors of a crisp and tart blueberry jam destined for a journey on the Blueberry Sea.

The Review:

This flavour has quite a simple description, blueberry, or more concisely, blueberry jam. I could go on and on about this note, and that nuance, but it really is that simple. “Yacht Club” is an unassuming blueberry flavour, that is quite sweet and jammy, a rich flavour with a light earthy base note not dissimilar to a light hazelnut.

Individual Notes

The blueberry here is a sweet full flavoured blueberry, not quite a blueberry candy, and not quite real blueberries. Somewhere in between, carrying the best of both worlds into this tasty flavour.

There is a light artificial sweetness to this one, as well as quite a thick syrupy feel, very much like a jam, fulfilling and nicely textured.

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, I get quite a natural blueberry flavour, its not over the top and has that unmistakeable thick base or background that many blueberries have. Its a little earthy early on, but sweet at the same time, as though someone has sprinkled sugar over the top of sliced fruit.

Onto the exhale, the earthy blueberry note is still there, but it is gradually layered over with a candy feel, the sweetness intensifying, and the jam feeling, really taking hold.

On a really wet wick and a nice big draw, there is a slight bready note that comes and goes in the middle of the exhale, its slightly nutty, and not a pastry, somewhere in between a pastry and a dough. It quickly dissappears though, as the vape continues, until you’re left with that sweet blueberry jam in all its glory!

Final thoughts

Another great flavour from the Classic Vape Co. This time they’ve done a blueberry differently, and rather than the usual blueberry cheesecakes that you find everywhere, they’ve produced a tremendous blueberry jam, that is both satisfying, full textured, just as you’d expect a blueberry jam to be!

Great work guys!

Colour:

Clear

Aroma:

Blueberry / Nut

Coil and wick damage:

No wick or coil damage that I have noticed. This is quite a clean juice and shouldn’t mess with your setup quickly.

PG/VG Ratio:

70% VG / 30% PG

Texture:

Thick full textured blueberry / Creamy

Steeping:

Steeping might be a good idea for this one, I suspect that there is a little cream in here.

Presentation:

I received 60ml clear chubby gorilla bottles with child proof lids and needle like nibs for easy filling. The presentation of the label is a little bit classy with The Classic Vape Co logo, and imagery giving off a nice expensive vibe.
Overall some really nice presentation, with all of the information you might need.

Test rigs:

Haku with slam cap running a single 0.18 AK coil from “Bombers Coils” on a mech mod.
OBS Engine RTA on Revenger mod @ 80w
