eJuice Review 441: Naughty but Nice by The Mixtress

So far, The Mixtress range of blends has been pretty great and there are some impressive mixes here, however I haven’t seen a nice thick dessert. I think today is that day!

Let’s see how we go with a nice creamy custard cheesecake!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Naughty but Nice” from The Mixtress

Flavour Description

A sweet strawberry cheesecake with a delicious vanilla creamy custard body.

The Review:

…aaaaand thick creamy dessert this definitely is! Full of thick caramel, custard goodness, blessed with a realistic strawberry, this juice is rich and full textured with a cheesecake undertone that will have you picking out flavours for days!

Individual Notes

The custard is a vanilla custard, it is thick and creamy with a slight caramel undertone that comes out even more at the top of the inhale, and really richens things up.

There is a little cheesecake in this mix, it’s not as prevalent as the custard but adds a lovely bit of extra complexity with it’s meringue and biscuit. Sweet and savoury all in one.

The strawberry is a great compliment to the creams with it’s realistic tartness, imparting a sharper strawberry flesh feel that cuts through very nicely.

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale you’ll instantly notice a realistic strawberry, sweet and tart, with a slight earthy feel accompanied with a light creamy custard which is quite thick already, specially for the inhale!

As the inhale continues, the strawberry stands out as a smooth yet tart fleshy fruit, as the custard turns from light and creamy to a richer caramel infused dessert that thickens as you reach the peak of the inhale.

Flipping over to the exhale, that thick rich caramel custard continues, except it is gradually joined by a light cheesecake note, slowly working it’s way in with its meringue like filling and biscuit base adding even more depth and really rounding things out.

The end of the exhale will leave you with a wonderful rich caramel, with custard and meringue, with a realistic but mellow strawberry and a lovely biscuit base.

Final thoughts

I’ve enjoyed this one a lot. I love my desserts, and a thick creamy and rich custard is one of my favourites.

The Mixtress have done a great job with this one, it’s a dessert that even the most disconcerting will enjoy, well blended and an all round tasty flavour.

I received what I think are 20ml clear plastic sample bottles, with screw cap lids, needle nosed tip, and basic sample white sticker labels.

Obviously this is not The Mixtress’s final retail branding, and are only sample bottles for review, so the labels do not have anything else on them besides the flavour name.

Test rigs:

Haku with slam cap running a single 0.17 framed staple coil on a mech mod.
OBS Engine RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
