eJuice Review 420: Reload – Sour Green Apple by Anthill Vapour

I don’t know about you guys but Anthill Vapour are knocking it out of the park with this new range! The first two have gone down a treat, and proves just how solid they are as juice makers. They’ve always made a splash with their fantastic mixes, but this range just takes things to a whole new level!

This next flavour is a fruity all day vape that will tickle your every sense!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Sour Green Apple” from Anthill Vapour’s new juice range “Reload”.
(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor.)

Flavour Description

Your mouth will water as you first taste this sweet and sour green apple flavour. It’s so crisp you’ll be back for more.

The Review:

I’m always a fan of Apple flavours, and you can’t beat a well mixed apple vape. Anthill Vapour have done a great job with staying true to a fresh crisp apple here and have really brought home all of the individual aspects very well.

“Sour Green Apple” is a true to form green apple flavour with crisp, tart high notes on the inhale, with sweet warmer background nuances that come through on the exhale.

Individual Notes:

There’s really only the one note to this flavour, as it’s a straight up Green Apple (Granny Smith), but it will run your full range of senses, from sour to sweet, tart to bitter and everything in between. Even though it is a single flavour, with all of it’s dimension you’ll be happy to vape it all day long.

Inhale & Exhale:

On the inhale, I get instant apple. Doh! I know right! Of course, because it’s an apple flavour, but that straight up apple tartness hits you straight away, it’s quite sharp and really mimics biting into a slightly under-ripe crispy green apple.

The inhale carries that wall of flavour, it’s sweet and tart at the same time. While the description and title mark this as a “Sour” green apple, I’m finding that this is more of a tartness, that natural bite or sharpness that you would usually get from apples. An acidic tartness if you will.

Once you’ve hit that peak of the inhale and begin to exhale, you’ll notice that acidic tartness fall a way a little, and the vape gets sweeter. Not sweet like a candy sweet, more of a natural fruit sweetness. As the exhale continues the apple takes on a softer sweeter feel, much like a well ripened Granny smith with it’s softer flesh, almost taking on a cider or a mulled apple feel. This continues right through to the end of the exhale.

Final thoughts:

This one is so easy to vape all day, it’s a punch of apple tartness with a sweet ripened apple flowing on through the exhale that mimics biting down on the real thing very very well.

A straight up apple, this won’t dazzle you with it’s intricate blends of contrasting flavours, but what it will give you, is a very realistic Green Apple and you simply can’t argue with that!

Nice one guys!

Presentation:

Such cool presentation this range has. All 60ml bottles came in Chubby Gorilla type clear plastic bottles with childproof cap and needle tip nozzle. The labels are the definition of simple, with the range name written boldly down the side “RELOAD”, and the juice name under it. All on a perfectly clear label mind you so that you can see the liquid level underneath. The subtle shadow of the Juice line name, is coloured according to the flavour, which is a nice little touch.

Everything else you might need is on the labels, bottle size, VG/PG Ratio, Ingredients, Warnings, Storage instructions, where it’s bottled, even the “dispose of in the bin” image is present!

Every juice comes in it’s own flavour branded coloured cardboard box with all of the same information that is on the bottles also. (Note: there are not many companies here in Australia that do this!)

Test rigs:

Haku with slam cap running a single 0.17 ET coil from “Bombers Coils” on a mech mod.
OBS Engine RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
