eJuice Review 390: Orange Stuff from Juice by Coops

eJuice Review 390: Orange Stuff from Juice by Coops

So, today I’m onto the 3rd flavour from Juice by Coops’ “Stuff” range. So far the candies or “lollies” as us Aussies like to call them, have been pretty spot on. Reminiscent of their candy counterparts, and offering quite a sweet vape, with minimal additional sweetener added.

Today’s flavour is an orange candy, what that exactly is yet, I’m not sure, it could be a hard candy, or one of those soft half slice types of soft lollies that have been dipped in sugar. You’re guess is as good as mine, and I’m getting really curious, so lets get stuck into it.

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Orange Stuff”.
(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor.)

Flavour Description

An extra sweet Florida orange taste on the inhale which is chased with a mild citrus zing on the exhale. A tantalizing orange candy treat we’re sure you’ll love!
The Review:

I know I left that intro questioning the type of candy that this “Orange Stuff” actually is, and I let me tell you, it is exactly as I suspected. It’s an orange hard candy. You know the hard candies that you get in either the clear wrappers, or branded, depending on where you get them, they usually come out at christmas time in a mixed bag? The ones that everyone sifts through and usually takes all of the raspberry ones first, and then the orange? Very much those.

Almost an orange “Bon Bon” but without the gooey centre.

“Orange Stuff” is an orange hard candy, sweet, yet with some underlying citrus that gives it a little bit of tang, just to remind you that it’s orange based.

Individual Notes

Again, as with the other flavours in this range, the different notes are minimal. The ingredients used don’t seem to be overly complex. Obviously a few different orange concentrates have gone into this, and I suspect a touch of mandarin, but of course only the maker would know exactly how complex this flavour really is.

Inhale & Exhale

I do have to say, that I’m actually getting the polar opposite of Coop’s description on this one.

On the inhale, I get an instant sweet and artificial orange, pretty much exactly how an orange hard candy would be, with minimal citrus or tang, it’s quite smooth and full flavoured.

At the turn of the inhale though and through the exhale, a slightly more realistic orange becomes apparent, it hits hard at first giving you that realistic citrus shot, fading off slightly as the exhale continues, leaving you with a little tang, and that smooth and sweet orange candy at the end.

Final thoughts

I’ve enjoyed this one, and Coops has done a pretty good job on this convincing Orange Hard Candy in vape form.
I have noticed that it does damage wicks quite quickly (I’ve rewicked once per day with this) but if you know orange concentrates, they tend to do that. I’ve reviewed plenty in the past that have had exactly the same issue.

This is sweet where it needs to be, has a great citrus mid range with a little tang on the exhale to keep things interesting, and has a very big plus…. The flavour does not seem to fade over time, like many other orange flavours do.

Three days vaping this, and the flavour is as good now as the very first time I tried it. If you’re looking for a sweet orange flavour to vape, I do recommend you try this one.

Great work on this one!

Where to Buy:

You can purchase this flavour as well as the rest of the “Juice by Coops” range of eliquids, directly through their facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/JuiceByCoops/) or you can go straight to their website and purchase from there (https://www.juicebycoops.com.au/).

Colour:

Light Honey Tint

Aroma:

Sweet orange candy

Coil and wick damage:

This one damages wicks a little faster than the others, I’ve changed my wicks out everyday while vaping it, as they brown pretty fast.

PG/VG Ratio:

30%VG / 70%PG

Texture:

Sweet thick full textured candy

Steeping:

A steep may benefit this juice, but it is great straight away.

Presentation:

The presentation of this new range is quite good, Coops has redesigned some labels to suit, and they hit the spot nicely for the flavour profiles that are on offer. I received 30ml plastic unicorn bottles with screw cap lids and needle tips.
As I mentioned the labels are quite colourful, redesigned specifically for the range, with the logo, some cool graphics and all of the details you could ask for.

Test rigs:

Haku with slam cap running a single 0.17 framed staple coil on a mech mod.
OBS Engine RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
