eJuice Review 391: Pink Stuff from Juice by Coops

eJuice Review 391: Pink Stuff from Juice by Coops

I’m really liking this theme that Juice by Coops is using. The “stuff” range are all candies or lollies, sweet, predominately hard candies in all of the flavours that you’ll remember from your childhood, you probably still eat them now!

We’ve knocked three of them on the head so far, it’s time for the next one up for review.

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Pink Stuff”.

(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor.)

Flavour Description

A sweet strawberry wrapped in vanilla.
This deliciously sweet and perfectly creamy vape is sure to take you back to your childhood favourite, strawberry chupa chup.

The Review:

This one, as mentioned in the description, is supposed to be a strawberry and cream hard candy flavour, much like the Chupa chup lollipops that came out a few years ago now. They had a pretty distinct flavour, were a really candied, sugary strawberry, with an equally sweet creamy base note.

“Pink Stuff” is pretty much that flavour.

The candied strawberry mixed with the cream really does give that lollipop feel, and the sweetness gives you illusion that you’ve just finished chomping down on the last bit before throwing the stick away.

Individual Notes

The strawberry, while a little candy, has quite a real strawberry punch to it. I think it’s that strawberry seed nuance that gives it that organic feel, and the brighter strawberry tartness.

The cream here is done quite well, it’s a candied cream, a little sweet with quite a thickness to it as well as a lovely creamy texture.

Combined, both of these flavours create a tasty candied yet slightly realistic strawberries and cream flavour.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale gives me quite a mellow strawberry to begin with, it’s sweet, very much like a normal strawberry candy that you’ve been sucking on for a while. There is a light cream there, just thickening up the texture a little and providing a rounded mouth feel.

At the turn of the inhale and onto the exhale, I get a burst of strawberry tartness, well perhaps not tartness, but a brighter note coming through that lifts the strawberry and gives it some more intensity.

From this point on, the cream comes back, gradually getting stronger, and thickening up the vape, with it’s lower milky note, still sweet and sugary, combining with the strawberry for a tasty and full bodied finish.

Final thoughts

Pink Stuff is quite a good replica of the old hard candy strawberries and cream, convincingly smooth and sweet, showing a stickiness that you’ll find making this even more realistic.

I did note that there is a slight realistic strawberry here that contradicts the candied theme, and while it doesn’t ruin this flavour, it does change the profile a little, adding some tartness where tartness shouldn’t be.

All in all, Coops has done a fantastic job with this one, and you strawberry lovers will be very pleased.
If you love your strawberry and cream lollipops, jump on this one!

Where to Buy:

You can purchase this flavour as well as the rest of the “Juice by Coops” range of eliquids, directly through their facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/JuiceByCoops/) or you can go straight to their website and purchase from there (https://www.juicebycoops.com.au)

Aroma:

Strawberries and cream

Coil and wick damage:

This one damages wicks a little faster than the others, I’ve changed my wicks out everyday while vaping it, as they brown pretty fast.

VG/PG Ratio:

70%VG / 30%PG

Texture:

Sweet thick full textured candy

Steeping:

A steep may benefit this juice, but it is great straight away.

Presentation:

The presentation of this new range is quite good, Coops has redesigned some labels to suit, and they hit the spot nicely for the flavour profiles that are on offer. I received 30ml plastic unicorn bottles with screw cap lids and needle tips.
As I mentioned the labels are quite colourful, redesigned specifically for the range, with the logo, some cool graphics and all of the details you could ask for.

Test rigs:

Haku with slam cap running a single 0.17 framed staple coil on a mech mod.
OBS Engine RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
