Cloud9 Cotton Review

Cloud9 Cotton Review

Today, instead of the usual eLiquid or Vaping Hardware review, I have something a little different.

A cotton review!

That’s right, Cloud9 have sent a few cans of their ace cotton over to me to have a crack at and tell you all what I think!

Let’s take a look!

Cloud9 Cotton is an Australian made product, and can be found across a bunch of aussie vape stores, but that’s not all. After doing a quick search online, it seems these guys have made quite the impact on international online stores, and physical shops to boot. They’re everywhere!

The Review

Cloud 9 Cotton hasn’t been around for too long, but it is making waves and moving quite well around the globe.

It’s touted as a cotton made for vapers by vapers, and has been processed up to 24 times, making sure it reaches the highest purity for fiber cotton, and can deliver the greatest vaping experience for users.

It features:

  • No break in time
  • No cotton flavour
  • Super fast absorbing
  • Resistance to high temperatures

So what do I think?

I’ve given this cotton a really good run, and you know I have, being that I re-wick pretty much everyday for my reviews and for various devices. I’ve been using this for the last 2-3 weeks exclusively and found Cloud9 to be really good!

This cotton is nice and fluffy, the fibers are really fine, so they fluff up quite well, and in being so, wick really well too. Because of the fine fibers, you can also really compress this cotton down if you prefer your cotton to be really tight in your coils. Just be careful with this, as I’ve found condensing it down too much, and having it fit really tight in the coil, does choke the wicking a little, so a little bit of movement through the coil is best.

I’ve noticed next to zero break in time with this, and no strange cotton flavour on wicking, and I’m one of those people who can get sweaty hands, which really puts an awful flavour through normal cotton, I haven’t experienced that at all with Cloud9. It’s nothing but clean clear taste straight away.

A metre is a great length, and will last you quite a long time, the length is quite thick, and I’ve found that cutting a small length off and splitting the thickness in half will give me enough cotton to wick two 3mm internal diameter coils.

This cotton gets a big tick from me for not only great flavour, ease of use, but also longevity. I’m finding it lasting much longer than my go to Cotton Bacon V2 on juices that like to gunk coils and darken wicks. I seem to get an extra few days out of it over what I usually use, which is fantastic!

If you’re in the market for a different cotton to try, I definitely recommend Cloud9 for your next purchase!

Presentation

Cloud9 Cotton comes in a 1 metre length of fiber cotton, coiled up inside a nice sized tin with a screw on lid. It’s a nice change from the usual push seal bag that I get with other cotton, and can take a beating at that!

There’s a large Cloud9 Cotton sticker on top with the name, and a few of the features of the cotton, as well as the length size (1 metre)

Where to Buy:

You can purchase Cloud9 Cotton from many resellers all over the world. Cloud9’s reach is quite broad and you’ll easily find a heap of online stores that stock their cotton. It averages at a price of $10.95AUD for a metre length in a tin, across a bucket load of Aussie online shops. You’ll also find distributors and stores stocking it in other countries like New Zealand, UK, Poland, France and many more.
