e-Juice Review: Cloud Chaos – Cryo – Water-Nade
If you’ve been watching, then you’ll know I’ve been taking a look at Cloud Chaos’s Cryo range over the last week, they’re a super cold e-liquid range inspired to give you a bit of chill over the warm summer weather with their ice cold cooling agent, and grand tasty flavours.
I was sent three of the range, of which I’ve already reviewed ‘Black Plague’, and ‘Blue Blade’, so this will be my 3rd and final review for the time being.
If you’re unfamiliar with Cloud Chaos, they hail from Victoria, and have been around for a while now, pumping out great aussie e-liquid flavours for their customers to sink their teeth into!
I won’t ramble, let’s get on with it!
Read on for the review of “Water-Nade” from Cloud Chaos’s Cryo range!

Inhale & Exhale
On the inhale, I notice that typically artificial watermelon note straight away, it’s not at the most unpleasant level, but is quite strong straight off the bat. It’s very much like you’d expect a watermelon cordial, or a watermelon flavoured mineral water would be, with a slight vegetal or grassy note, presumably to mimmick the watermelon skin, with an almost bitter floral, and lightly powdered mouth feel.
It’s juicy and that juiciness gets more pronounced the further you get into the inhale as the cooling agent kicks in giving you a nice strong ice cold chill.
The top of the inhale is where everything is at it’s strongest, and the watermelon builds up to this point, almost tipping over the edge with a sharpness, but never quite getting into that overdone territory.
Instead, the cooling agent takes over washing over it, and taking the edge off, giving you a real mouth chill.
As the exhale begins, while the cooling agent and watermelon subside a little, the lemonade appears, it’s a warmer note compared to the watermelon, a little more complex, and also helps even the watermelon out as both blend together.
Flowing on through the exhale, the watermelon becomes more of an undertone as the lemonade, and the cooling agent which ramps up a little again, blend into a dynamic mix to finish the vape, leaving you with a slightly bitter yet sweet aftertaste.
My Thoughts
This is not a bad flavour, not my favourite of the bunch, but ok for a watermelon. I’ll admit watermelon flavours are difficult to get right, due to the concentrates available, and realistic watermelon is just really difficult to replicate.
Cloud Chaos have done a great job bringing the lemonade on board as a contrasting flavour, and it saves the day, but it’s not as pronounced as I was expecting it, at times the watermelon is all I can taste, I would have liked to have seen the lemonade come through with the watermelon more of a backnote throughout the vape, even the inhale.
All in all, blending watermelon with lemonade, offers up a slightly bitter, yet sweetened contrast, with an ice cold finish that will chill you to the bone.
One for the watermelon lovers, but if you don’t like that artificial watermelon flavour, you’re not going to go crazy over it.
