Individual Flavour Notes:

  • Musk
You shouldn’t really be surprised that Musk is the only flavour here. It’s a little dry, but sweet and also a little creamy. It’s a nice dense flavour that fills your senses!

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, this flavour is simply unmistakable. It’s musk right away, no lead up to it, no wavering flavour level, the second you even open the bottle, you can smell it, so the second you start your inhale, it’s there.
Musk is very much a fragrant flavour, in the way that your sense of smell will influence your experience with it more so than other flavours. You’ll notice a slight perfume, and dry texture to it.

Musk is always a really difficult flavour to describe, but this one starts off with a more powdery texture. Sweet, but definitely not juicy, nor dynamic. You’ll notice the dryness as an underlying mouth feel with a floral feel, that in turn drives your flavour sensors. Think of it like a musk “Life Saver” type of flavour, rather than a “Musk Stick” taste.

As I inhale further and get up to the top of it, the flavour increases, without really changing. Things do sweeten up a little, and are a little more pronounced at this point, but there are no major moves in profile at all.

The exhale sees things smooth out even more, further developing that flatter, more “Musk Life Saver” sweetness, still a little powdery, but not quite as much as before, instead that artificial sweetness takes hold and drives that confectionery flavour right through to the end of the exhale.

A lovely confectionery flavour that will blow you away with it’s smooth texture and sweet finish.

My Thoughts

I’m not a huge Musk fan, I usually find it far to floral for my liking, but Trew Brews version is a solid flavour with a really nice balance to it.

Musk is always going to come across as a dry flavour, but this sees the sweetness blended a little to create an almost creamy feel to it, I wouldn’t call it a “Musk Stick” flavour, instead, it really reminds me more of a “Musk Life Saver”. It’s one of those things that until you try it, you likely won’t understand the reference, but once you’ve got that flavour cracking in your favourite vape, I’m sure you’ll see what I’m talking about.

A lovely smooth Musk for all of those confectionary lovers!

Good work Trew Brew!
