eJuice Review 39: Strawberry Custard by Vape Craft
Vape Craft are an ejuice business based in California, USA. Their juices are all mixed in-house, and not out-sourced. They have a fairly large range of flavours and seem to have an equally large following. Their pricing is really really good too! đ
Here’s some info from their website:Â http://vapecraftinc.com/
“When you buy from Vape Craft you are getting e liquid made by vaping enthusiast. We take months to perfect our vape juice and craft it to impress even the most veteran connoisseurs of vaping. We brand our e liquid with the names ‘Vape Craft” and  ‘Vapors Anonymous’. All our e liquid contains a food grade kosher USP vegetable glycerin base, USP propylene glycol, natural and artificial flavors, and they may contain liquid nicotine if you choose to add it. “
Flavour Profile
From the website:
“Strawberry Custard – Awe Can’t beat the classics. This premium e-liquid flavor has been infamous in the vape community. Our strawberry custard features a real strawberry taste with delicious notes of vanilla custard”
The Review:
I quite like this one. It’s definately not what I expected and I’m pleasantly surprised. You would normally expect a strawberry custard to be heavy on the custard side, but VapeCraft have flipped it around.
I immediately get a strong sharp strawberry. Rather than being an abrupt sharpness, the tanginess dances across the tongue, giving you a mix of sensations. Sweet, sour, tangy, and tart all at the same time.
Is it realistic? Or is it Candy flavoured? See this is where defining the strawberry is difficult. I really cannot tell, it seems to have nuances of both, which is great, the sweetness of candy with the tartness and tang of real strawberries works, and is a lot more satisfying than a real, organic, earthy strawberry would be.
The strawberry actually reminds me a little of a strawberry I tried a while ago called “Salacious Strawberry” from Mt Baker Vapor. Obviously not precisely the same, it just reminds me of it. I loved that one too.
The custard is a backup flavour here, it smooths the exhale, dulls the sharpness of the strawberry, and provides the fullness to the vape. Â I cant say that I actually get any vanilla from it either, unlike other strawberry custards, perhaps the vanilla is lost in the tanginess.
“Strawberry Custard” by Vape Craft is a different strawberry custard than most in my opinion. Definately worth putting on your list if you are thinking about putting in an order with them.
