eLiquid Review 512: Snozzberry by EZY Eliquid

eLiquid Review 512: Snozzberry by EZY Eliquid

You’ve all seen this one. It’s all over the place, it’s been going mental on social media, and everyone seems to have picked up a bottle of it!

Backing onto the success that EZY Eliquid had with “Mango Nectar“, they’ve released their second flavour. This one, just like the first, has taken months and months of hard work, and testing by a determined mixer, who simply refuses to release anything unless he is 100% happy with it.

It’s been released as a regular version, and also a “Frozen” version, just like the previous flavour, so you menthol lovers, get a shot at this too!

Let’s see if EZY Eliquid have upped the ante!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Snozzberry” from EZY Eliquid.
(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor for review.)

Flavour Description

[From the website]
A delicious fruity, succulent blue raspberry that tastes like it’s from another planet! Fruity, Fizzy, Candy Clouds.

The Snozzberry tastes like Snozzberries

The Review

You’re going to get very confused with this flavour, I certainly am. It’s been a very difficult one to crack and I’m not even certain that I’ve got it right!

You see, “Snozzberry”, isn’t just any normal flavour, this one is something else. Not quite a blue raspberry, not quite straight up raspberry infact, it’s a fruity flavour that’s for sure, but which fruits, is really anyone’s guess.

The only gentleman that really knows, is the one behind the brand, and something tells me he’s not going to reveal his secrets.

Roald Dahl had an idea of what Snozzberries actually were, but I don’t think we should ask him either!

Anyway, my take on it, is that it’s a very light and delicate combination of, sweet candy raspberry, a touch of peach for that background low note, some sherbert, cotton candy, and a little sweetener just to get that real candy feel going.

“Snozzberry” is a light, delicate blend of choice fruits and berries, with a full textured sweetened finish.

Individual Notes

Bare with me on this part, any of you that have tried “Snozzberry” know that there is a lot more going on than it seems, and there are some notes in there that might only make sense if you’re sitting there vaping it right now.

Raspberry. I’m going to pick on this one first. Usually a blue raspberry flavour will have a heap of raspberry in it. This doesn’t. Granted, there is raspberry, but its a more candy jelly type of raspberry, and it is not strong at all.

I suspect that there are other berries in this, something unusual, like an elderberry or something that I’m not familiar with. Where you’d expect blueberry, this rounded low note isn’t convincing me that it’s actually that.

I notice a few other highlights in this flavour too, I’m probably way off base, but I seem to pickup some peach, and also some mango. Only minute amounts, and they really only appear when the flavour is at it’s most intense.

Sweetener. This juice does have sweetener. I haven’t had any issues with gunking coils or blackened wicks, but this does have it, and it’s pretty noticeable through the exhale.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale is quite light, actually the whole vape is. This really isn’t a very intense flavour. I initially notice the raspberry, and other berries, they’re very smooth and sweet, quite juicy actually, without a lot of the normal berry tartness, which gradually increases in flavour toward the top of the inhale.

At the top of the inhale and tipping over to the exhale is where this flavour is the most intense. The raspberry turns, and the berries sharpen, giving off a little more tartness, but also exploding out with other nuances packing out the flavour, and creating a nice depth.

Mango, and peach tones, appear adding to the base line and taller notes, rounding things out and giving off an even juicier feel.

As the exhale continues, however this intensity sways a little as the flavours mingle and blend into the one, quiet yet tasty mix. It’s at this point the sweeteners kick in, carrying strongly through to the end of the vape, leaving you with a sugary sweetness on the lips.

Final thoughts

Despite my failure to nail exactly what is in this one, I’ve really enjoyed it and the flavour intensity is right at the level that I like. The berries are juicy, sweet and put together so very well, making sure to capture a complete complex flavour, without drowning anything out. What a wonderfully created flavour profile.

While I sway toward less intense flavours, I do have to mention that this one is very quiet. As much as I’ve enjoyed it, I’ve found even myself wanting this to have just that little more impact and fill my mouth with flavour instead of having to hunt around for it.

I’ve found that using a smaller chambered tank to be beneficial in bringing that intensity out, and it seems that this flavour works much better that way. Even my Haku, just didn’t have that convincingly dense intensity, I managed to get a more enjoyable experience from my Intake RTA.

Having said all of this, I do recommend this flavour, especially if you’re after an all day vape, or you prefer less “in your face” flavours, you’ll have a hard time getting sick of this one, it really is lovely.

Well done!

(If you’ve tried Snozzberry, please let me know what you thought of it in the comments, I’d love to know what flavour notes other vapers are getting from it!)

Extra (Frozen):

Menthol lovers will be pleased to know that “Snozzberry” also comes in a “Frozen” variety, where you’ll be able to get your chill on with a bit of WS23 added.

I haven’t personally tried it in it’s “Frozen” form, but the creator assures me that it is at the same level as “Mango Nectar Frozen”, which I have tried and found to be at just the perfect level of freeze.

Cold enough to give dual coil users an icy blast, yet quite pleasant for MTL(mouth to lung) vapers and single coil vapers.
