eJuice Review 361: Red Bee by Secret Bunker Vapour

eJuice Review 361: Red Bee by Secret Bunker Vapour

This week, I’ll be reviewing a new range. You can’t buy this stuff, its a pre-release, but I’ve been told that there will be a limited run very soon.

Secret Bunker Vapour have a keen interest in all things natural and holistic, everything has a purpose, and everything they do takes natural order and physical and mental well-being into consideration, even their e-liquid creation.

Secret Bunker Vapour was created on the premise that Positive Ions are particularly bad for us, especially in today’s society where we are exposed to more and more electronics, pollution and chatter than ever before.

All eliquids are steeped in “The Bunker”, a space that is isolated from any radiation, electronic interference and influence of Positive Ions (bad ions) in order to keep the juice as pure and clean as possible.

These guys have been quietly working away perfecting their first range of flavours with quality and perfection in mind, only wanting to release them when they are just right. Not close enough, not “that will do”, absolutely perfect.

Lets take a look at the first one!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Red Bee” by Secret Bunker Vapour.

(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor.)

Flavour Description

The solution to red bull raging energy drink addicts! This richness and sweetness is JUST like the real drink.

The Review:

It’s funny, I never buy energy drinks, it’s not that I hate them or they do not agree with me, I’m just not excited by them.

I have however, been known to pull an all nighter, smashing Vodka 150’s (Vodka and m150) all night with my heart pumping out of my chest, keeping me from falling asleep, but that was in my younger years, and energy drinks by themselves to pep me up? No, not really that interested.

Interestingly enough, today’s juice is just that, an energy drink flavour, and above all, the father of all energy drinks, Red Bull.
I’ve had plenty of energy drink vapes before, and they’ve all fallen a little short. Usually either muted, or so in your face that they’re just outright horrible.

I’m pleased to say that today, the holy grail has been found. “Red Bee” is an absolutely spot on Red Bull.
Not only spot on, but I think it’s better.

When I drink real Red Bull, I get a very complex mash of flavour, and that is it. I don’t know what it is, I don’t know how it’s made, its just an overpowering, what I’ve come to describe as, “Energy Drink flavour”.

“Red Bee” is better in the way that it allows you to find the individual flavours and notes that are used in it’s creation, the flavours can be pulled out and appreciated, it really does a great job of making a normally straight up “Energy Drink Flavour”, a complex experience.

Individual Notes

Fermented Citrus or mulled cider is the main note that I get here. It’s a great replicant of that unique Taurine flavour, that gives red bull it’s distinct flavour.

Apple is probably the other main note here. Providing the acidic feel and sour sweetness similar to green apples that we all know and love.

Bubblegum is another flavour that I notice here, it’s more prominent on the exhale and really does contribute to the overall flavour, giving things a little bit of texture.

I notice a little Berry/Cranberry, only a small amount, and like the bubblegum just adds even more to the deeper complexity of this flavour.

Warning. You will notice other flavours in this juice from time to time also. I have noticed, blueberry, watermelon and a few others that I can’t quite put my finger on!

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, the berry, apple and mulled cider/fermented citrus are the most dominant flavours. They help to create that mouth feel you get when drinking a real red bull (Taurine is it?) It’s nicely replicated here, giving a nice brightness, as well as an overdose of that familiar sweet yet sour, mouth twisting experience.

At the turn of the inhale and onto the exhale, picture the apple dropping away slightly with a light well textured bubblegum slowly coming into play. It seems to cling to the berry, leaving the exhale with a stronger berry/bubblegum undertone that contrasts so well with the Mulled Cider sweetness.

Final thoughts

I’m suitably impressed with this flavour, it delivers exactly as promised, in a way that I can appreciate properly. No hidden flavours to overcompensate, no quick fixes, this is a meticulously created flavour, that really does taste like the real thing.

It’s great for flavour chasers like me too, as I vape this, different flavours come to light. They switch and change, allowing the full range of notes to appear at different times, and just when you think you’re done, out comes another flavour that you totally wouldn’t expect.

So far I’ve been vaping this for 3 days, and haven’t put it down. If that’s not impressive enough, I also don’t particularly care for energy drinks, so this must be good.

Great work guys, some awesome mixing here.

PS. Don’t forget, I also have a Giveaway happening on my facebook page, where you have the chance to win 3x 100ml bottles of flavours from Secret Bunker’s Shadow Series. (https://www.facebook.com/vapersgarage/)

Where to Buy:

This is currently a pre-release juice. Not available as yet in any stores. If you’re really keen on giving the Secret Bunker range a try, and you’re in Sydney, you can head down to Regency Vapour in Chippendale, for some pre-release tastings.

Secret Bunker are planning on having a pre-release limited run sale very soon also. So keep you’re nose on social media and also on their website (https://www.secretbunkervapour.com.au) and wait for the drop, no doubt it will sell out quick.
