eJuice Review 352: Monkey Business by Sydney Vape Co

Time has really flown this week! I’m already onto the last of my reviews of the Sydney Vape Co juice range, but what a week it’s been! I’ve had fruits, desserts, beverage and even peanut infused flavours.

Some have not been my type of thing, but most of them have been not only great flavours, but expertly mixed with attention to detail, making sure that even the texture of these flavours leaves you with a lasting impression!

Let’s not waste anymore time, and just get on with it shall we!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Monkey Business” from Sydney Vape Co

(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor.)

Flavour Description:

Our office monkey has suited up and whipped together some serious Monkey Business. Peanut butter cheesecake with banana cream and custard filling.

The Review:

Some would say that I’ve been saving the best to last, but to be honest, it was just the last one left in my review box! What a pleasure though, for this to be a nice thick dessert vape, my favourite profile!

“Monkey Business” to me is a little different to it’s flavour description, it’s more of a Banana Cream/Realistic banana hybrid, with backnotes of peanuts, and a little bit of custard and cream to fill in the gaps and add a little bit of extra thickness.

Individual Notes

The banana is a little candy-like to begin with, sweet and powdery, quickly turning into a thick and creamy realistic fleshy banana. A really nice touch.

The nut is of course peanut, and from that, quite thick and sticky, like a peanut butter. It’s not as strong as the banana and falls in behind as a fantastic supporting flavour and extra layer.

The creams and custards are really light, mainly there to thicken things up and act as background notes, bridging the other flavours and promoting a nice smooth vape.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale is more banana than peanuts, or any other flavour for that matter. It starts off as a sweet banana, almost of candy-like texture, which quickly shifts at the top of the inhale, to a rounder realistic fleshy banana note. At this point I notice a touch of cream, but not obvious. It helps to support the banana and it’s shift to a thicker consistency.

Onto the exhale, at the beginning, it carries on from the inhale and is mostly fleshy banana and cream notes, but gradually I notice some nut appear, its not just a hazelnut either, the texture that comes with it is slightly sticky, creating more of a peanut butter feel. It’s definitely noticeable, but not in your face, and doesn’t drown out the banana at all, which is a bit of a feat!

As the exhale continues, I notice a little bit of a cheesecake crust and the cream turn to a light custard, these notes are very light and I’m guessing are added as support notes for the banana and peanuts.

The exhale finishes in a mix of thick creamy banana and custard notes with a nutty undertone which is not only smooth but a little rich and decadent.

Final thoughts

All in all this is quite a nice flavour, personally, I don’t notice a lot of cheesecake or custard, it is more of a banana cream with a backnote of peanut butter, with the cheesecake and custard being more supporting notes than standing out on their own like the description notes. A small thing to pick on I know.

I like how the banana goes from being a really candy-like banana cream on smelling it, to a more realistic banana when it’s vaped, it totally confused me, but at the same time, was a nice surprise.

The realistic banana, and nutty notes of the peanut butter work really well together and create quite a sticky and thick texture, perfect for the dessert vape that it is.

Well one guys!
