eJuice Review 317: Madam Cannoli by Vintage Cloud Co
These guys sure do love making desserts, and thats a great thing for me as desserts are my favourite profile! This time around I’ve got a flavour that only few have on offer, and it’s one that every dessert lover goes crazy over!
Today I’ll be reviewing “Madam Cannoli”!

The Review:
It takes a delicate balance of notes to get the cannoli feel right. The pastry needs to be prominant but not overbearing, and allow the custard to shine through without that also taking over.
Vintage Cloud Co have done a great job with this because, “Madam Cannoli” is a sweet and doughy pastry, filled with full flavoured vanilla custard, and a sprinkling of icing suger powdered over the top.
Individual Notes
The pastry here is great. Even though it is barely there through the vape, it singe handedly turns this flavour from a simple vanilla custard, into a vanilla custard cannoli. It is sweet and doughy, not quite a doughnut and not quite a biscuit. More a soft pie pastry, you really can imagine biting down into it.
The custard here is a pretty standard vanilla custard. It has a full cream texture, with a light vanilla undertone, quite dialed back, which works perfectly for this cannoli mix.
It’s all finished off with a light dusting of icing sugar. I’m not sure how they have achieved this, or if there actually is an icing sugar concentrate available, but it is spot on, even down to a slight powdery feel during the vape.
Inhale & Exhale
The inhale is mainly vanilla custard, quite light at this stage with the vanilla more of a hidden undertone, with the creaminess of the custard dominating at this point.
Toward the end of the inhale and onto the exhale the vanilla picks up a little bit, ensuring that you get that vanilla feel, as the pastry also begins to make its way into the vape adding some complexity and providing the final piece of the puzzle that makes up the cannolli profile.
The pastry blends in slowly, complimenting the custard perfectly until it is at its full intensity. At which point a powdery dusting of sweet icing sugar appears at the end of the exhale adding even more authenticity.
Final thoughts
I love my Cannolis, and I love this juice too. It is one of the better Cannoli profiled juices that I’ve ever tried.
As much as I am impressed with this flavour though, I can’t help but feel that it could be a little stronger. It feels as though, after a few days of vaping it, I seem to lose a little of the full flavour. There are times that it feels like I’m vaping a simple custard, then others where I get that full cannoli flavour. A percentage or two of extra flavouring would lift this up, allowing the cannoli to come through all of the time. Even after days of vaping it.

Presentation:
This range is really nicely presented with labels in a parchment colour with vintage style graphics. Each flavour has its own character, with the labels listing ingredients and warnings. The bottles are clear plastic custom chubby gorilla bottles with clear child-proof caps and needle tip nozzles.
