eJuice Review 314: Lord Ice Popblock by Vintage Cloud Co

Vintage Cloud co is a brand new juiceline from the makers of Cloudz 4 Dayz, so if you love the latter, you’re in for a treat with this new range of flavours.

As well as new flavours, the new range sports some new bottles, name and labels, carrying the vintage theme with some clever design and branding.

The Review:

This flavour is your classic orange cream profile, but it’s not exactly like many of the others out there. It has more of an orange splice feel to it. A little extra vanilla and an ice cream effect that draws you in, leaving you wanting to take one more vape to get that iced confectionary and cream flavour again and again.

Individual Notes

There really are only a few notes in this. To get this mix right would have been quite difficult, especially that iceblock feel. Considering there is also zero menthol or cooling additives in this, I imagine would have made this even harder.

The orange is the usual unmistakeable citrus, a slight zest but quite light and more Orange juice concentrate than real Orange.

I believe that there is a little bit of mandarin in this too. It adds some extra punch to the orange, which can usually be a wavering flavour, giving it some extra intensity as well as juiciness and sweetness.

The creamy note is not really just a cream, more a pure vanilla, with that little extra something that gives this an iceblock feel, most likely a vanilla bean ice cream. I’m guessing that some marshmallow has also been added for a thicker texture and a little extra sweetness.

Inhale & Exhale

Strangely, the inhale to me is quite creamy and totally devoid of the orange and mandarin. It is thick, full cream textured, with a touch of sweetness.

The exhale is where all of the magic happens.
The orange appears, and similar to many other oranges, is quite lightweight at first. The mandarin then kicks things up a notch, adding some extra citrus and juicyness, blending perfectly with the orange.

Finally through the orange and mandarin, the vanilla takes hold mixing evenly with the fruits and creating that orange ice confectionary filled with ice cream feel.

Final thoughts

Totally loved this one. In spite of this not containing any menthol or cooling agents, I still get that ice cream feel, it’s sweet, fruity, juicy and creamy. A great replica.

Presentation:

This range is really nicely presented with labels in a parchment colour with vintage style graphics. Each flavour has its own character, with the labels listing ingredients and warnings. The bottles are clear plastic custom chubby gorilla bottles with clear child-proof caps and needle tip nozzles.
