eJuice Review 315: Mr Polish Pete by Vintage Cloud Co

Today I’ve got the second flavour of the Vintage Cloud Co range up for review. It’s a completely different profile to the first, which was a fruity ice cream, lets see how we go with a rich dessert tobacco!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Mr Polish Pete”!

This juice was supplied by the vendor.

From the website:

Apple and Butterscotch Tobacco… This is a must TRY!!!

When Polish Pete moved to Australia he was shocked how cheap apples were. Back in his homeland only the rich ate apples!! From that day on he ate a bag of apples every day.

Every day on the job his pockets were loaded with werthers original and his lunch box packed with apples and he knew, he had made it here!!
Old Pete loved to bum a smoke or two! This flavour was inspired by you old Polish Pete keep that trowel clean!!

The Review:

Whenever I read tobacco in a juice description, I cringe a little, after all I did take up vaping to get away from it, and like many I just can’t stand the smell of cigarette smoke anymore either.

Lucky for me, this isn’t really a tobacco. Sorry, it is, but the tobacco is not it’s main profile. This is much more of an apple butterscotch dessert with a slight tobacco undertone.

This juice goes totally against all expectations, in a good way of course. Forget everything you think you know about butterscotch vapes for this one!

Individual Notes

The butterscotch is smooth. Really smooth. If you’re like me, you may have been put off by other butterscotches, being nothing more than a burnt caramel note, not so here! This butterscotch is a smooth, almost Werthers flavour, nice and thick and a little creamy.

You might expect the apple to be more pronounced here, but it’s not. It is definitely a distinctive apple, but it smoothes and blends so nicely with the butterscotch, that it comes across as an addition rather than a prominent or dominant note.

The tobacco is really just a hint beyond the butterscotch and apple, its a smokiness that presents itself when the other flavours are at their full intensity. It has a thick mouth feel, that really adds to the texture of the juice.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale really is mostly a creamy apple. The apple is not very dominant but it is unmistakeably apple, with the thick creamy flavour and texture being the primary note.

The apple intensifies a little and morphs into an almost stewed warm apple before the butterscotch appears, smoothing it and cream out really nicely. It has a slight caramel, sweetness and a thick waft of vanilla which gives it a little bit of a vanilla custard feel.

Through the butterscotch, the smokeyness of the tobacco shines through adding to the thick texture of the cream and creating a bit of complexity in an otherwise smooth dessert vape. It doesn’t strike me as any particular type of tobacco, it is dry and woody, a light waft of warm thick smoke rather than a pipe tobacco or a wet tobacco.

The end of the vape is a smooth and creamy, slightly smoky, apple butterscotch all rolled into one. Delicious!

Final thoughts

I totally did not expect to like this one, but I’ve been vaping it non stop. If you’re after something a little different and into desserts, this one is a must try.
It’s also pretty clean for a dessert, I’ve had no issues with wicks gunking and no issues with my coils. Just a delicious clean juice!
