eJuice Review 358: Kiwi One – That’s my Jam by Vagabond Vapour

I’m going to do a few individual eliquids between these huge juice lines that I’ve been reviewing lately, as I’ve got a few piled up, that I’ve been meaning to get to.

The first one out of the gate comes from a company that everyone has heard of. I’ve reviewed all of the other flavours in this range before, but Vagabond have decided to add another flavour to the “That’s my Jam” range, this one a little different than the rest!

Still sticking to the straight up fruit mantra, this one has a little bit extra in it that you won’t find in the others.

Lets get on it!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Kiwi One” from Vagabond Vapour’s “That’s my Jam” range.

(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor.)

The Review:

Consistency was the key with the “That’s my Jam” range, and Vagabond Vapour have kept this going. Not only is this a single fruit, but it matches the rest in flavour intensity, Normalized if you will.

There is one difference. This time around, there’s a little bit extra added. Cooling agent.

That’s right, “Kiwi-One” is a tart, yet sweet realistic kiwi flesh, juicy and on point, with a light cooling agent added to give it a little chill.

Individual Notes

The kiwi fruit here is phenomenal. Somehow they’ve managed to keep the kiwi tartness down, whilst giving it a sweetness boost, mimicking a very ripe real Kiwi fruit. It’s not just kiwi flesh either, I also pick up on a light earthy seed taste from time to time, adding that extra bit of authenticity! I’m suspecting a mix of various Kiwi fruits in this one!

I do pick up an almost watermelon nuance in this juice too. Perhaps a little was added to give more body and depth. This could be just me though 🙂

Cooling agent has been added, but very carefully. You’ll notice that very light chill, but not enough to get a brain freeze. It’s just a pleasant coolness that adds to the experience without going overboard.

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, I notice the kiwi straight away. It’s not harsh, but a light fleshy note that is mostly sweet at this point, with a touch of tartness. You’ll also notice the cooling agent at this point too. It is coolest at the top of the inhale, and the beginning of the exhale.

The exhale begins with the chill being at its height, and slowly backing off as the exhale continues. Simultaneously, the Kiwi fruit strengthens, and fills the void as the cooling agent drifts off into a much lighter chill.

On the exhale there are some lower notes that I can’t quite make out, it feels like watermelon, but a tongue test and swishing around with water, and it’s gone. I’m thinking there may be an additional support flavour hiding in here, that helps give that kiwi a real full balanced feel, and helps to tone down it’s sharpness. What it is, I don’t know, but I find it hard to believe that a kiwi can be this strong without some type of chemical note coming through.

The exhale finishes off, surprisingly full bodied for a fruit, it’s sweet, with that unmistakeable kiwi fruit flesh feel, almost syrupy, and a slight chill giving it a little edge.

Final thoughts

This one is close to being my favourite of the “That’s My Jam” range. I’m partial to Raspberry, so I think that may be my pick, but the addition of a cooling agent, and the work that has gone into giving this Kiwi flavour some depth and body is amazing!

The flavour intensity is on point, and this is one juicy and more-ish juice. It’s no wonder there’s some noise around it on social media.

Fantastic work guys!
