eJuice Review 359: Cartel Cola by The Juice Cartel

Today’s juice comes from “Juice Cartel” located in country Victoria, they have their own online store where they sell their in-house brand of eliquids, as well as vaping hardware and accessories.

This juice has seen a bit of a pump on social media lately, with their new “Pash” on ice flavour also being released recently.

Let’s dig in and see what all of the fuss is about!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Cartel Cola” by Juice Cartel.

(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor.)

Flavour Description

Its a scorching hot day in Australia & honestly who wants JUST ice cream on its own? A huge scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream dumped in your cold glass then pour over a nice big dose of refreshingly smooth cola to stop those taste buds melting!!

The Review:

Everyone loves a cola spider, (vanilla ice-cream crammed into a tall glass of cola), we all had them as kids, and they were a special treat, something that you wouldn’t get every day, which just made them all the better.

Think back and try to remember that flavour, the fizzy cola, mixed with the smooth chilled vanilla ice cream, contrasting against each other brilliantly with bright and sharp cola notes, enriching the thick creamy chunks of ice cream.

That’s exactly what this flavour is. No if’s no but’s, this is it.

Individual Notes

The cola in this is quite bright, and not as syrupy as many cola’s can be. Many tend to taste more like the cola that you’ll get out of the bar tap, sweet with a thick syrupy feel. It’s quite a light note compared to the vanilla, which is a little bit of a shame, but it works, and works really well in this mix.

The vanilla ice cream, is a very vanilla based flavour. I’d believe it if I were told that there is not only vanilla ice cream in here, but also a tonne of vanilla spice as well. It is quite strong, to the point where a slight floral note presents itself every so often.

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, the cola is at it’s strongest, giving off a real fizzy, bright cola vibe, with only the smallest amount of vanilla present. As you inhale, you’re hit with the cola sweetness rolling around in your mouth and a fizzy sharpness making this even more genuine.

At the turn of the inhale and onto the exhale, the vanilla notes pick up, dominating the mix and pushing the cola into the background. The ice cream is sweet, vanilla spiced, and fluffy, providing a lovely thick and silky texture. It’s at this point I notice some light floral notes, a little perfumey but not at detriment to the mix. The florals quickly subside, as the exhale continues, and I find the cola appearing again, mixing perfectly with the fluffy thick vanilla, creating that fizzy ice cream feel that we are all familiar with, ending with a satisfying, textured and full bodied vape.

Final thoughts

This is a really nice juice, no hype, just a genuinely good cola ice cream, that ticks all of the boxes, and is both flavoursome and well structured. The only thing I would have liked, is to see a touch more cola added, so that it is more noticeable on the exhale, but that’s a small thing, and this juice just works so well already.

If you’re looking for a silky smooth vanilla/cola spider, this is a great one to pick up!

Nice work Juice Cartel!

I received a stubby 30ml chubby gorilla bottle, with childproof cap and needle tip dispenser. The bottle is clear, with black labels, that display both the Juice Cartel logo, the juice name, and the usual suspects (ingredients, warnings etc..).
The labels are simple, but professional, and very distinguishable from other brands on the shelf.

OBS Engine RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
