eJuice Review 331: Exclamation Mark by Symbolic Vapour

Today I’m taking a break from the Dinner Lady reviews to bring you something a little special.

As much as vaping has advanced and moved onto being a more direct to lung affair, there is still a tonne of mouth to lung vapers (tootle puffers) out there using restricted air setups. Unfortunately for those poor vapers most juices these days are made for the masses (mouth to lunger’s) and those flavours can be a little lack lustred and weak for our high nicotine low airflow brothers and sisters!

Symbolic Vapour have noticed this and developed something power packed that’ll knock your socks off even at 15 watts!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Exclamation Mark” from Symbolic Vapour.

The Review:

Boy is this one strong!

I’ve brought out a nostalgic build for this one. My old REO mini, my trusty Chalice 3 with a 0.6ohm single ss 316L coil. I figured it only fitting that I should get out the same gear that I used to use before I started using higher airflow equipment.

So what is this juice? “Exclamation Mark” is a potent mix of spearmint, menthol, mints and cooling agents, mixed at 50/50 PG/VG for maximum flavour and killer chill!

Individual Notes

It’s quite difficult to pull each individual note out since they are all mint based, but I notice hints of spearmint, a touch of peppermint, menthol and cooling agent.

If I were to draw a comparison to anything, this reminds me of spearmint chewing gum! Extra extra, read all about it!

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale and exhale are quite interesting as they are completely the opposite way around than you’d expect a gum to be!

Obviously the exhale is more intense than the inhale, and that’s where the confusion sets in. With gum, you get a rush of flavour to start with and as you chew, the flavour lessens the more the flavour runs out.

With this flavour, the inhale seems to give off a real chewing gum mint kind of feel. Not a full flavoured gum, more a gum that you’ve been chewing on a while and the flavour has lessened, and you get that underlying dryish gum note.

The exhale ramps up the mints, just like throwing a fresh spearmint chewing gum into your gob. You do really notice the spearmint most of all, but I also notice a touch of peppermint mixed in with the resulting menthol and cooling agent following up toward the end of the exhale providing a really chilled finish.

Final thoughts

Full disclosure, this is a very strong flavour, it’s not a great idea to put this in a higher wattage build, or anything with a lot of airflow, these mints are full on! You have been warned. It is designed for MTL (mouth to lung) vaping, and it’s quite cold even using it for that! Not to mention that it has a lower viscosity due to it’s 50/50 PG/VG ratio, so it will hit quite hard.

Aside from the strength, this is a really clean juice, with no noticeable issues with gunking of coils and wicks, it really does taste like it has that “Extra” flavour.

This is a very interesting and tasty juice, it does a great job of keeping things strong for lower power builds, so if you’re just starting out or prefer lower airflow builds, this is one you should definitely try!
