eJuice Review 321: Cinnapple Roll by Nectar Nation

These guys are brand new on the scene, and ready to launch their new juice line.

Yep, that’s right, this is a pre-release review!

Hailing from Queensland, this range has been sampled internationally, and been in the works for almost a year!

Let’s check them out!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Cinnapple Roll” by Nectar Nation!

(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor)

Flavour Description:

Perfectly baked cinnamon rolls stuffed with three types of delicious apples. The ultimate treat for any occasion or season.

The Review:

If you’re looking for spicey, and tart, yet smooth and full textured flavour, you’re reading the right review! “Cinnapple Roll” is a lovely mix of spicy cinnamon, sweet yet tart warm apples and a smooth cream tying everything together.

Individual Notes

The Cinnamon is spicy, well not at first, it creeps up on you, starting as a light sweet yet spiced note, intensifying as the vape continues.

There are three types of apples in this, and it shows. Rather than being a singular apple, it’s a warm rush of smooth and lightly tart green and red apples, much like stewed apples, similar to what you would get in an apple pie, or a “Cinnamon apple roll!”.

The cream isn’t really noticeable but thickens things up a little and helps tie the cinnamon and apples together. I’d say that it’s a sweet cream, a light unassuming milky cream.

Inhale & Exhale

This one is a little unusual in the way that I don’t really pick up on a lot on the inhale. Normally I notice notes of the wider flavour coming through, but this is really only a thick creamy texture with a touch of cinnamon spice at the tip of the tongue.

The exhale is where everything happens. At the turn of the inhale and onto the exhale, the cinnamon gets to a spicy point before the cream picks up a little and I’m introduced to the apple.

The vape warming up during the exhale really helps the apples mix and come across as warm and stewed, gently simmered over a saucepan until they caramelize. The sharp tartness of the granny smith apple is evened out by the extra body of the red apples. There is another apple in here, but I’m at a loss as to what it could be, perhaps a similar apple but from a different flavour manufacturer. Either way, they all come together to create a sweet and tasty warm stewed apple mix.

Toward the end of the exhale the cinnamon picks up again, blending really well with the apples without overpowering or being too spicy, but mixed to just the right levels allowing both flavours to thrive in a smooth warm vape.

Final thoughts

I can’t help but think that this might have benefit from some type of pastry note, and not just the cinnamon.

Having said that, this is a really tasty flavour, and I’ve loved every minute vaping it. Mixing of the 3 different apples was a great move, and really makes this juice. The combination of the cinnamon spice and the illusion of stewed apples makes for quite a genuine Cinnamon apple roll flavour!

Great job guys!

Where to Buy:

Nectar Nation have just launched their shiny new website, you can order all of their flavours online through their new store!

Colour:

Light honey tint

Aroma:

Cinnamon / Apple

Coil and wick damage:

I’ve had no issues with coil or wick damage at all from this juice. It seems pretty clean. The cinnamon may eventually degrade wicks and coils but will take quite a while!

PG/VG Ratio:

30%PG / 70%VG

Texture:

Spicy, warm, tart with a light cream.

Steeping:

Great straight away, but a steep will make it even better!

Presentation:

Some pretty unique presentation here, the bottles I received are 60ml blue tinted plastic bottles with a narrow sauce bottle type cap (not child-proof). These tips are just small enough to fit nicely into an RTA fill slot, pump enough juice through to fill a squonk bottle, and don’t leak when unscrewing the top like the normal sauce bottle type caps.

The labels are sleek being matt black, with the Nectar Nation logo and all of the information you’ll ever need, including the flavour description, which is a huge plus!

Test rigs:

Haku with slam cap running a single 0.18 AK coil from “Bombers Coils” on a mech mod.
OBS Engine RTA on Revenger mod @ 80w
