eJuice Review 402: Yellow Heifer by Clouded Visions

Ok, this is the last of the Clouded Visions flavours that I have in my review box, recently I’ve reviewed their “Jammed Up” range which were toast and jam goodness through and through, as well as their “Sweet As” range, which is their take on some classic candy favourites.

Just like the last review, this one is from their original range, it takes everyone’s favourite cream base “the heifer” to whole new level with the addition of some candied banana, it will be sure to get you salivating!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Yellow Heifer” from Clouded Visions.
(This e-liquid was supplied by the vendor.)

Flavour Description

You just cant get enough of the Heifer, and I’ll continue creating them until you do! By far the most requested Heifer was Banana. You ask, I deliver. Slightly candied, extremely creamy banana atop the incredible Heifer base. Enjoy!

The Review:

We all love the “Heifer” range, with it’s silky smooth vanilla and cream base, warm tones and deep layering, but what would happen if we mix it with banana?

Something very special of course! Clouded Visions have previously mixed their “Heifer” base with pretty much every fruit under the sun, with the exception of banana, now they’ve done it, it definitely won’t disappoint!

“Yellow Heifer” is a smooth and silky vanilla cream, somewhere between a sweet cream and a whipped cream, quite light and airy, combined with an equally smooth candy-esque banana cream, providing a really full and satisfying vape, with just that hint of extra sweetness.

Individual Notes

There are two distinct main flavours here, the heifer base and the candied banana.

As I have mentioned in previous reviews, the Heifer base is a light and airy, velvety vanilla cream, somewhere between a sweet cream and a whipped cream.

The candied banana, is very similar to those soft banana lollies that you get in the variety bags, you know the ones, slightly powdery, with a nice squishy bite. Many refer to this as a “Runts” type of flavour, but I’ve never gotten that nuance from this profile.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale on this one is similar to the other “Heifers”, a velvety textured cream with hints of vanilla, but with just that smallest hint of candied banana. As with most dessert based flavours, this one doesn’t hit it’s peak of intensity on the inhale, and is light and smooth at this point.

Over to the exhale, the creams intensify, getting more of a vanilla hit, thickening up and creating a nicely layered dessert. The banana also intensifies, but not overly so, seeming to fall in line with the same intensity as the creams, in order to not overtake them, but blend delicately, adding a little bit of sweetness to the blend.

Final thoughts

You’ll not get a massive flavour hit with this one, it is a more delicate and “fluffy” cream mix, with the banana towing the line and not overtaking the creams and vanilla.

Personally I really like this type of flavour, it’s well mixed, with the creator taking all nuances into account and how they all work together to create this one deliciously creamy profile.

If you’ve had a sweet banana cream flavour before, this is similar, obviously not the same, as it has the “Heifer” base, but you’ll find the banana levels to be a close match to many banana creams out there.

A great mix, and fantastic addition to the “Heifer” range!

Always great presentation from Clouded Visions. Their basic unicorn bottles work really well, with no leaks and squeeze just the right amount of juice.
