eJuice Review 19: Outerworld – Castor

As mentioned in an earlier post, I took part in the Outerworld juice trial. This was one of the flavours that I trialled and reviewed.

Description:

Thick, creamy custard infused with fragrant vanilla bean.

Initial Juice Trial:

Day 3: Small Chamber A6 RDA (0.8ohm single coil) @ 15-20W istick 50
Mouth to Lung hits
Colour: clear
Scent: Caramel
Inhale: Custard, caramel, vanilla
Exhale: smooth sweet vanilla thickness in the mouth

Thick flavourful dessert vape.
The vanilla is just faint and not obnoxious like some custard vapes.
Sweet caramel, undertones with the vanilla and icecream. very creamy.
Leaves a nice taste in the mouth. Not lacking in flavour but also not overbearing.
Great mix.

Day 10: Small Chamber A6 RDA (0.8ohm single coil) @ 15-20W istick 50
Mouth to Lung hits
Less vanilla but still a great custard. Smooth and full flavoured.

Day 15: Kanger Subtank (0.6Ohm OCC) @ 20W – 30W on istick 50.
Lung hits
Colour: Light Caramel Colour
Scent: Caramel/Vanilla
Inhale: Custard, caramel, vanilla
Exhale: Vanilla, caramel, cinnamon

This is another flavour that I’ve almost finished the bottle of. Once it hit the subtank, I’ve been vaping it all day. It has everything that you’d expect from a caramel custardy juice. A nice thickness to it in the inhale and exhale, buttery notes, as well as some spice (cinnamon).
Now that it has steeped and Ive switched from an RDA to an RTA, Im noticing the Cinnamon more, but it also comes at a cost of flattening out the vanilla notes.
It does give it an interesting aftertaste, not bad at all, just a little unexpected.

Pros
Lovely vanilla custard (as expected)
Cinnamon exhale, adds some complexity and spice to the flavour.

Cons
The cinnamon flattens out the vanilla custard flavor, and leaves an unusual aftertaste. Not really a con, because I quite like it, but it was unexpected.

Finalised Outworld Recipe Review:

I don’t believe that anything has changed with this one from the trial.

It was really really good then, and it is still really really good now.

It has been mentioned to me by a few friends that it has a slight cereal milk taste.

A top notch vanilla custard in my book, definately recommended!
