eJuice Review 18: Outerworld – Omicron Persei

As mentioned in an earlier post, I took part in the Outerworld juice trial. This was one of the flavours that I trialled and reviewed.

Description:

Steeped Gyokuro green tea with a hint of ripe passionfruit

Initial Juice Trial:

Day 3: Small Chamber A6 RDA (0.8ohm single coil) @ 15-20W istick 50
Mouth to Lung hits
Colour: clear
Scent: green tea
Inhale: Passionfruit.
Lovely blend of tea and passionfruit comes through nicely. A delicate flavour it wont blow you away which makes this ADV material.
The dullness of the green tea puts emphasis on the bright passionfruit flavour coming through that leaves a slight tang on the tongue
Exhale: Sweet green tea, with passionfruit trailing.
My wife hated this one, but I found it morish.

Day 10: Small Chamber A6 RDA (0.8ohm single coil) @ 15-20W istick 50
Mouth to Lung hits
Passionfruit takes a back foot to the green tea. It is an unusual mix with a full flavour.

Day 14: Kanger Subtank (0.6Ohm OCC) @ 30W on istick 50.
Lung Hits
Colour: Tan Tea colour
Scent: green tea
Inhale: Green Tea
Exhale: Smooth green tea, with sweet passionfruit at end of exhale.
This is full bodied flavour, it definately won’t be everybody’s favourite due to the strong green tea, but of those that like green tea, it will be a refreshing vape, with some tangy passionfruit poking through at the height of their inhale, and exhales.
I’ve had this in the subtank all day, and this one vapes well at higher watts on the subtank, where the passionfruit shines.

Pros
Surprisingly good but unusual flavour combination

Cons
Not everybody likes green tea

Finalised Outerworld Recipe Review:

This one hasn’t changed since the trial, well not that I can tell anyway.

Lovely green tea as the low note, the passion fruit shines as the high note at higher wattage with a wet wick.
I also get a slight very slight menthol, i could be wrong, but i feel as though i can detect a little, barely noticeable menthol coolness which adds a bit of dimension. It definitely does not turn this into a mentholated juice, just adds a slight cool wetness to the vape.

Not for everyone, but if you’re up for trying unusual flavours, you’ll either love it or hate it.
